Pursuer's pawpads shifted under the grass as he approached the river. The rushing water was a grim reminder of his childhood where he nearly went to his watery grave thanks to the fact that he couldn't, and still can't, swim. He mentally shoved it aside, after all, he only trekked here because he wanted something to drink. Water tasted good when it powered you but it sure didn't taste good when you were trying to flail out of it.
