Chapter Text
[As with all my stories, none of this writing is final and it is subject to change frequently!]
Artful hadn't exactly been one to discuss his emotions, and he wasn't sure if he was ready to do so yet. His family was proud, and he for sure wasn't going to ruin it for them. After the accident, everything Artful once knew went downhill. He had to flee his home and reside in the nearby forest alone, release his beloved goldfish, and most of all, avoid law enforcement. Thirty people dead wasn't something that was just pushed aside, after all... Since then, Artful rarely emerged from the forest-y area, let alone with his makeup, because it could expose his location.
The most recent round has ended and that left him wandered Grandma's Backyard by himself. It was strange since he had not seen the dark-furred apex predator ever since. While still deathly afraid of the creature, he couldn't help but feel oddly concerned. He hadn't spotted Pursuer and it was bothering him greatly. He almost always saw the apex predator around here, so it was off at the least that he couldn't see him.
