Summary
The Braille Legacy musical… de- musicalized 🙌🏼
Young Louis Braille is blinded by accident at a young age. His family teaches him to adapt. Which gets him a full ride to the only blind school in Paris.
He creates a new way for the blind to read and write— but his life is wrought with constantly trying to prove to everyone else that blind persons CAN learn and are just as capable as everyone else. Facing prejudices, judgement, and a dangerous doctor who believes he can find a ‘cure’.
(Basically.. the musical— but with added story / historical elements)
