Summary
Kel had always known he was never good enough. Next to Hero, he was a failure. A nuisance. Someone to be forgotten. Hero knew that something was wrong - he had known for some time, really. But he didn’t want to face it. He never could’ve guessed what would happen in the aftermath of his blindness, even if in the end, he was able to prevent the worst. He just wished that he had tried harder sooner.
