PROLOGUE
Code Lethal Camp (CLC)
"Another chance for the young sinners, they say."
It's actually an infamous school in Japan, funded by the government. That's where students (who are considered Lethal for committing deadly acts) go to.
The country used to have harsh punishments for people who commit petty crimes (common example is thievery), and even harsher punishments for people who commit the deadly acts. Deadly Acts? Ones much more worse than petty crimes such as committing a mass murder or genocide, assassinating people with a higher status, activating bombs around crowded areas, and many more- all committed by people whose age is within the range of 9 to 19.
How young.
Not every student going there have committed deadly acts though. Some of them are "considered a threat to the society", usually for being "the offspring of a dangerous person"; or for being an insane nutcase whose parents are tired of handling them; and so, they have to attend CLC.
Akira Mado will be attending there as a teacher. And even if she's an intelligent, serious woman who can depend on herself only, she still didn't know what to expect of the class she will be having.
A class of normal high school students sounds nice, but that's an understatement.
A class of deadly teenagers capable of ending a life or hundreds, sounds even better, and definitely true.
She had read all of the files of every student in her class before packing her things. Once she starts to handle the class, she'll be living inside the campus until the school year ends. Where exactly? In a boarding house, together with her students. She made sure to remember their faces, all information about them. But in fact, all she got was their picture, their strengths and weaknesses, and some actions she has to avoid just so she wouldn't "trigger" them. Their background information was pretty limited. It contained the reason why they were attending CLC.

It was tiring, but it was important. Anything related to work is significant to her.
A common misconception about CLC is that, it's a school where the Lethal ones are trying to be "cured". But no, that's not really the purpose of the school. Scientists and people with higher positions in the society are observing the students' behaviors. And then, they train them to become better. When Akira was assigned to take the position as a class adviser, she had hesitated before "taking the challenge". What made her hesitate? Ruthless murderers were the whole reason why she lost her parents. Murderers have the capability to kill and end a life or hundreds. These students are capable of killing and-
No, actually, everyone in this world has the capability to kill. May it be in a dirty, messy way, or just by starting from the inside, destroying internal organs before the heart.
Would she be able to handle this?

The door slammed open, and two boys occupied the space that used to have 4 students. "I got your dagger, I got your dagger~!"
"Not again..."
"Juuzou, Obi, stop running!!!"
He couldn't stop himself from frowning and then scowling. Without Maka's own patience, he would explode. Why did he have to team up with the wilder ones?
"Hey shh- stop. I see Peko."
