   Summary

   Azula knew what moved him, what strings to tug to dance Zuko to her whims. She knew what words raised his hackles and which promises soothed them. From the moment she was born, Azula knew the depths of her brother’s heart as though no ribs rung through his chest to shield it.

   She would not allow her brother to become a stranger.

   On the day of their Agni Kai, sister prevailed over brother and Azula was crowned Fire Lord. Taken as a prisoner of war and his body broken by the fight, Zuko is left with naught but his wits to guide him through a life under Azula's thumb.

   But in this defeat--an opportunity. Can Zuko reach his sister's heart from in bonds? Is there even a heart to reach?

   Can a world with Azula as Fire Lord know peace?
