Summary
In 1985, Michael Jackson was subject to relentless tabloid rumors and speculation about his sexuality.
He knew the rumors were ridiculous. He knew there was nothing behind them. He had never looked at another man that way. Still, despite knowing it was ridiculous, despite the fact that he knew they were wrong, he let it get to him.
When a collaboration brings him together with a famous singer and actor who's known for his perfect, clean and scandal-less public image, an unexpected friendship blossoms. Michael realizes that maybe the man everyone sees isn't necessarily the person standing in front of him.
And maybe, beneath the carefully constructed images, they had far more in common than either of them had ever expected.
