Yosuke laughed, "hi everyone! flowervillage, I'm doing great now that you're all here! So, how's everyone doing?"

"Since when did you stan Risette..., hm, pretty much forever?" Yosuke tilted his chin and smiled, grinning wider as the chat exploded with messages.

"Haha! I never tried to hide it guys, I guess I just never really talked about it? But I love Risette's music! Plus, her new merch line looks pretty sick, don't you think?" Yosuke said, coming closer to the camera to show off the design.

"Woah, woah, hold on, guys!" Yosuke chuckled, waving his hands in mock surrender. "I thought the plan for today was me playing ranks! And Chie?! The hell are you even doing here?!"

The chat erupted with more messages, some jokingly accusing Yosuke of being a Risette fanboy, some were greeting Chie, while others were demanding to see more of his merch collection. Yosuke sighed in mock defeat, standing up to gather some things. He talked as he walked around his room, the dark background not giving much for the viewers to see. "Fine, fine. I don't actually have a lot, you know! And I'm so not a fanboy like you guys are calling me. I just like her music! But I'll share a few I own, okay? And then let's start with the actual stream content for today."

Yosuke returned, holding up an uchiwa of Risette winking, a few albums and photocards, and his phone.

"Told you guys I only have a few things to show. First, this uchiwa is from her last concert, I got it to support her. This one's my favourite design, I think she looks cute here, don't you guys think so?" Yosuke said, holding it up to the camera. The chat exploded again with messages, most of them in agreement. "do you have a crush on..." Yosuke squinted at the chat, then choked, "w-what?! No way guys, she's cute, but I do not have a crush on Risette. Her music's cool though," Yosuke replied. He looked as if he knew something about Risette that made him unable to like her that way.

After showing the viewers his albums, answering questions on his favourites and giving a some short reviews of each album he owns, he finally moved to his phone.

"And lastly, my prized posession..." Yosuke raised his phone to the camera, showing off the back of it.

"Shut the hell up, Chie. And chat, c'mon, chill!!" Yosuke laughed. The chat ignored him, spamming the chat with messages. "This? I just got really lucky, y'know?" Yosuke grinned, taking off the cheki from his clear phone case to show it off some more. The chat exploded once again, many users expressing their jealousy and demanding for more explanation.

After he put the polaroid back on his phone, he put his things to the side. "Okay, okay, that's really all I have— fine, yes, aside from a Risette poster at the other side of my room— can we now get started with the actual stream content for today? I know you guys are all actually here for me playing FOG, so let's get to it!" Yosuke said, readjusting his set up and opening the game.

"As you all already know, I've been meaning to rank up my sniper today, which is not my main by the way, so I'll be streaming till I get gold!" Yosuke grinned, clicking Match . The chat exploded with messages once more, some users expressing their excitement, some jokingly teasing him about how he'll be terrible at the game, while some were still hung up on the fact that Yosuke was a Risette fan.

Yosuke laughed, "alright, alright, let's get started! I hope you guys enjoy the stream!"

"Fuck my life, chat. What did I do to be cursed with shitty teammates?" he groaned, raking a hand through his hair in frustration. He'd been playing for a few hours now, and while he had gotten silver earlier, combined with his lack of sufficient experience with the sniper position and being given subpar teammates in several matches, he still hasn't achieved gold.

He clicked Match again, getting ready to play a new game.

As Yosuke's team's resurrection stone fell and the giant "DEFEAT" banner appeared on screen, Yosuke himself continued to trash on the stiker. Unbeknownst to him, the door to his bedroom opened, and a sliver of light from the hallway shone. Someone walked in, and with how dark the room was, the viewers couldn't see who it was.

"I don't give a fying fuck man, we're on fucking ranked! Put that stupid shit to a bot match and stop fucking dragging everyone down with your shitty ass—" Yosuke shouts were cut off when a hand touched his shoulder and a plate with a sandwich was placed on the table beside him.

The chat exploded with messages, even more so when they noticed how fast Yosuke calmed down. Game and trash talking forgotten entirely, he turned, grinning at the person who entered the room, "woah, thanks, partner!!! I needed this after playing for hours."

The person patted his head and left the room soon after. The chat was still going crazy, some users were asking who the person was and what he looked like. It was the first time the viewers saw someone other than Yosuke in his stream, albeit briefly, so they were curious. Since the match ended, the lobby eventually closed, freeing the poor player from Yosuke's verbal abuse. Yosuke finally turned to the camera, smiling at his viewers as he took a bite of the sandwich.

"Phew, what a total disappointment. I was so close to ranking up to gold, but it's pretty late now and I'm pretty sure you guys are tired too, so let's call it a day--huh?" he said, finally reading the comments on the chat.

"Oh, that's my roommate, chat. We've been like, best friends since high school! It only made sense that we live together after I moved back to the city. Man, he's actually–wait, no! What the hell?! No! We–we're not–!" he sputtered, finally reading the other comments on the chat.

"He's not my– my boyfriend! No way, chat. I mean, I like him a lot, but not like that! We've been through a lot together, and I trust the guy with my life. Besides, I'm straight! Both of us are! You guys– I swear, it's not like that–Hey! Chie! Not helping!!" Yosuke groaned, throwing his head back in frustration and swiping a hand over his face. The chat was relentless, his viewers teasing him about his sexuality, while some users were still asking who the person was. Chie was still in the chat, laughing at Yosuke's reaction and teasing him further. Yosuke groaned again, muttering under his breath, "I can't believe you lot... Is this seriously the kind of fans I've amassed" He shook his head and the chat just laughed even more.

Finally turning back to the camera with a small smile, he started to say goodbye, dodging more questions. "Anyway, I think that's enough for today. I'm sure we're all tired from the stream. I'll continue grinding tomorrow instead. Thanks for tuning in, chat! I'll see you all tomorrow!"

Yosuke waved at the camera and ended the stream, leaving the chat to wallow in their curiosity. Yosuke groaned, taking out his phone and sending Chie a text message.

The next day, Yosuke was back on stream at his usual schedule, ready to continue his grind. The chat was still buzzing from the yesterday's events, with some still hung up over Yosuke's "partner". Yosuke sighed, shaking his head as he read through the messages. After all, he didn't really address the "partner" thing, and he didn't exactly want to explain.

"Alright, alright, let's focus on the game today, I really wanna get gold with this sniper so I can go back to playing striker, alright?" he said, trying to steer the conversation back to his plans for the evening. "And who knows? Maybe I'll even try playing as a medic next time, since you guys liked me getting out of my comfort zone so much. But for now, let's focus on ranking up!"

Yosuke clicked Match and the game started, the chat exploding with messages once again, most of which were wishing him luck and cheering on, while some were hoping he gets better teammates this time. Yosuke laughed, shaking his head as he read the chat messages while he waited for the match to begin. "Thanks for the support, chat! Alright, let's do this!"

By the next hour, Yosuke had finally ranked up to gold, and the chat went wild with congratulatory messages and stream gifts. Yosuke grinned, smile bright and cheerful as he thanked his viewers for the support and read their messages. "Thanks a lot, chat! And for the stream gifts as well, wow! You guys didn't really need to do that, y'know? But I'm really grateful for the support! Hmm... medic, huh? You guys really want to see me play that?"

"Woah, you guys really want me to play assassin medic?" Yosuke asked as he read the messages. "Y'know what? Alright! I'll give it a shot on my next stream, but don't flame my ass if I end up being terrible at it, okay?"

He grinned as he watched his viewers grow excited at the idea of him playing a healer. He decided to chat with his viewers for a while before starting another match for fun, when the door to his room opened. He turned around with a smile, not noticing that his chat started going grazy with messages once more.

As usual, Yosuke's background was dark, so the viewers couldn't really see what was happening behind him save for a dark figure moving around.

"Yo, partner!" Yosuke greeted as the dark silhouette crashed into what might be Yosuke's bed. His smile dropped, "hey, you okay? Had a rough day, huh?" Yosuke's roommate must've nodded, because he continued, the microphone picking up a bit of Yosuke's words, "well, I'm still streaming so do you mind waiting for a bit? Or I can end it early if you need me."

His roommate replied, and while the voice was muffled by the mattress and the microphone didn't pick it up as much, the viewers could still hear a bit of his soft voice, "oh, sorry. I didn't know you'd be streaming today."

"Eh, it was a last minute thing, wanted to continue where I left off last night. You okay waiting there?"

"Yep, I'll be okay, I'm just going to crash here, I can wait."

"If you're sure..." Yosuke bit his lip and turned towards his viewers again, pointedly ignoring the hundreds of comments now asking about his roommate.

"Alright, alright, I'll play medic next week, that good with you all? So stop spamming it already" Yosuke grinned as multiple requests drowned his chat. He read some and tried to reply, "okay, okay, maybe I'll let you guys play with me... strikers and a sniper of course... how will i pick? let's see... i'll post the mechanics on my socials once I've thought about it! hmm... sure sure, it'll be random, and you're my fans, so I wouldn't mind carrying... oh? good idea! Wha? hey, just because I'm single doesn't mean I'll agree to that! Right, sorry, sorry... what?! yes, yes I'm single! S-stop that! Chat, come on, I already told you all- I mean- hm... I guess it would be fun playing FOG with a girlfriend?... yes, I'll play striker again once you guys are satisfied with my medic's performance... I'll play another game soon, sure!... wait, you guys are chatting too fast, what's going—huh?!"

While Yosuke was busy reading the messages, his chat suddenly exploded, and before he could figure out why, a pair of arms wrapped around his neck and his roommate rested his head on Yosuke's shoulder. The viewers weren't able to see his face, but they could see silver locks and a head nuzzling Yosuke's neck while the other turned red.

"Dude, are you okay?" Yosuke asked.

"Head hurts..." his roommate replied, which made Yosuke turn around in concern. He stood up, so the viewers could no longer see either of their heads, but their torsos were still in view. Yosuke's roommate was clinging to him while Yosuke looked like he was consoling his friend. Their voices

"Then don't lean on me like that! Your head will just hurt even more, man."

As Yosuke doted on his roommate, the chatroom was still going wild, Yosuke's mods struggling to contain them.

Yosuke walked to his bed, dragging his roommate with him. Despite it being dark, the viewers could still see their silhouettes as Yosuke tucked his roommate to bed. After a while, he returned to his desk, an apologetic smile on his face.

"Sorry everyone, but my partner needs me so I'll have to cut this stream short. As promised, I'll play assassin medic on my next stream, okay? Thanks for watching everyone and I'll see you again soon!"

As Yosuke said goodbye to his viewers, laughing at their messages and floundering on some of their—and Chie's—teasing, calculating grey eyes watched from the bed, his mission a success.
