    Summary

Cramped in a dusty old vent, metal pressing down on his ribs and shoulders, inhaling a spider web (gross), he shimmy-shimmy-aye's over to a vent cover, which he peered through onto the floor of the warehouse. The floor was lined with boxes, stacked so high they almost touched the ceiling--bad choice, by the way, since the structure was unstable the the likelihood of it falling on top of you as you grab a box of drugs was... pretty high.

("And then, with the drugs that were in a high area with a high chance of falling on you when you get it down, you'll get high." His mind unhelpfully remarks, for absolutely no reason whatsoever. Peter shook that thought away.)

And beside the boxes, was a cat.

Now, the cat seemed very friendly. Very nice. Very domesticated. Very pet-able. It was walking alone, collar jingling as it strut around the boxes of drugs. Since it was alone, Peter didn't see much harm in petting it. I mean, Peter pet cats all the time while he swung around Queens, so this shouldn't be too different.

    Right?

Or: Sam and Peter are on a mission to take down a drug ring. Peter is too chatty, so they play the quiet game. Then, a cat ruins it all.
