   Summary

   Nine years of survival on Mars, six years of survival in Eden, sixteen years of survival in a C.O.I. prison, and an unknowable amount of time of survival in the SM-13 later, Simon finds himself facing his greatest challenge yet: Believing that the alien molecular biologist and alien engineer who saved his life are not trying to kill, dissect, and study him.

   Because he knows they are lying when they say they are here to help. He is going to escape them, and he is going to do whatever it takes. All he has to do is adapt once again, gain their trust, take their ship, forget all about those perfect blue eyes, and escape back to Earth.
