"The girls in my class talked about hair mascara and I thought they were trying to pull a prank on me. But Wooyoung actually has one, despite being a guy, and he let me have it. So,
Welcome to Changbin's salon!
Who's my first customer?"
Changbin brightly offers the idea while taking out the hair mascara out of his bag. He looks at his big family, and at once, most of them instantly leave the living room except Seungmin, Grandpa Felix and Grandma Jeongin. The high school student rolls his eyes, then he excitedly tries to approach his grandparents.
"Our hair is already gray, you punk" Grandma Jeongin points out her backscratcher to make him stop approaching.
"The mascara works on gray hair too" Changbin argues. Instantly, the grandparents get up and leave as well. They don't even leave that far, the whole family is standing in between the living room and dining room, them walking away is just a sign to say (impolitely) that they are not interested. Changbin gives them a sharp glare, causing his aunt, mother and little brother to chuckle.
Then, he sees Seungmin.
Still on the couch, with his reading glasses on because he is doing some work on his phone, too distracted to join the tease. Changbin's eyes brighten up in excitement, and he immediately approaches his uncle.
"Okay! Uncle will be the first customer to my Changbin's Salon!" He announces. Only then Seungmin stops doing his work to look at the hair mascara in his nephew's hand.
"Is that washable?"
"Yeah" Changbin nods eagerly. Seungmin has to chuckle at his excitement. He looks like a little boy with a new toy. So, he just focuses on his phone again while he answers.
"Go ahead"
"Yes!" Changbin cheers, and shortly after that, Yongbok and Chan quickly run towards them to join the 'salon'. Seungmin practically saves everyone from a bad hair day, and everyone finally gets to sit back down with relief. Minho chuckles softly seeing the kids already messing up with her husband's hair, then she decides to go to the kitchen with Hyunjin and Jisung because she hears they plan to make hwachae.
Around 20 minutes later, chaos ensues.
"Woah, what the- ?!" Minho hears Hyunjin's dramatic reaction when she walks to the living room.
"Oooh I have a talent after all!" Changbin cheers with full confidence, his loud voice echoes in the house.
"Now that's my son! My son is a good looking one like this!" Grandma Jeongin praises with pride right after, followed by Seungmin groans. His mother must have smacked him while saying the praise words. Jisung and Minho, who are cutting fruits in the kitchen, chuckle together when they hear the exaggerated reactions.
"Seung must have looked really good. Now I'm curious about it" Jisung washes his hands quickly to go to the living room as well. Minho just shakes her head, that is the last thing Jisung notices before heading out. But soon after she is left alone,
there is no such thing as smiling.
Minho can feel her face hot, one hand holds her chest to check her heartbeat and it is pounding loud and fast. It's the thought. The thought that her husband looks handsome is driving her insane. He is always handsome in her eyes. Always. But the others praise him like that? He must be ethereal. Minho can't deal with that.
"Omo. You actually look good" Jisung sounds dumbfounded. That means he is being sincere.
Minho wants to dunk herself in a bowl full of soda-milk mix.
She grabs the knife tighter, considering. Should she go out of the kitchen and see for herself? Should she take the longest time she can? Maybe something will ruin his hair in the meantime so he won't be that good looking anymore, right? But he is always handsome. Should she bring the knife with her? Just in case... he's too handsome, she has to kill him or something. But what if his handsomeness kills her-
"Mama, come look at Papa!"
Minho flinches when Yongbok walks into the kitchen with full excitement. She turns around to look at the little girl, but once their eyes meet, the daughter loses her smile and looks curious instead. Mama hasn't seen Papa yet but her face is so red and her eyes are glittering so bright. Yongbok notices them all but questions none. Minho fakes a smile and nods, hopefully the little girl will fall for it.
"Y-Yeah, I'll be there" she tries to sound bright. Yongbok nods slowly, has no idea what to respond, then she just leaves. She straight away runs back to her father, and her smile blooms again.
There goes Seungmin, still looking at his phone with his reading glasses on, but with a whole new hairstyle. He has blonde highlights, thanks to the hair mascara, and his hair is pushed all the way back, revealing his forehead. His brows are furrowing slightly, probably stressing out over the thing he is working on. He totally ignores Changbin who is taking a picture of him from different angles to send to his friend, and shows off the masterpiece he has created.
The grandparents are observing the hair mascara they took from their grandson, Hyunjin is showing type of hair dyes to her husband from her phone, the kids are still touch-up the hair a little here and there, but then suddenly they hear a loud hiccup. They instantly look towards the direction where the sound comes from, which is towards the kitchen.
Seungmin turns as well, looks at the view with his left eye brow lifted.
Minho hiccups again, eyes wide.
Her face is almost neon red, she is holding a wooden spoon close to her chest, and she freezes at her spot.
"Omo, unnie is going to explode" Hyunjin giggles with her husband. The furrow on Seungmin's face disappears almost instantly, it is replaced with a fond, shy smile. Now they are exchanging glitters, Yongbok notices.
"How is it, auntie? Uncle is looking awesome, isn't he?" Changbin praises his own 'masterpiece', despite already seeing his aunt's reaction. Everyone waits for Minho's reaction, and at last, she hiccups again before she nods slightly.
"Uhm... he looks okay" she mumbles, then quickly goes to the kitchen again. The family woo Seungmin, teasing him for such a reaction. The husband just chuckles softly out of embarrassment, then he decides to throw his phone on the couch, stands up and stretches. Before he leaves the living room to go to the kitchen, he comments
"Ahh~ What can I do? I guess Dango needs a twin~"
"Yah!" Jisung panics while Hyunjin bursts out laughing loudly. The kids seem to be confused with the comment, and Grandma Jeongin scolds loudly, saying how 'science doesn't work that way'. Seungmin ignores them all, because now his head is full of his wife.

Bonus :
The next day is a school day, but it is a bit different for Changbin.
Soon after he walks out of his school after the class ends, he looks around, acting cautious. Then, he sees a figure hiding behind a building nearby, wearing a long coat and hat. The high school student looks around again, making sure nobody is following him before he crosses the street, heading towards the unknown.
He stands at the other side of the wall so no one will see them together. Although the unknown person is fully covered, they can't take the risk of getting caught.
"What do you have?" The unknown person, a lady, asks. Changbin crosses his arms, feeling confident.
"120 thousand won for all softcopies, 75 thousand won for hardcopies will do" he offers. Instantly he gets a sharp glare from her.
"Are you crazy? Why are the softcopies more expensive than the hardcopies?" She scolds but in whispers. Changbin turns around, facing her this time.
"Because I know auntie doesn't have a spot to hide the hardcopies from uncle, so I put the softcopy price higher" he teases Minho, and is followed by tongue lolling out annoyingly. Minho wants to smack him so badly but then
"Is this why you want to follow me picking up my superman?" Hyunjin asks, crossing arms as she watches the two sillies making a random acting scene. Minho even wears all these silly, Sherlock Holmes looking outfits just for this. Minho loses her character right away, pouting when Changbin just giggles at the end.
"Changbin asks me to pay for my own husband's photos" she rants, now the three of them leave the school area together while the aunt and the nephew bicker.
"It's limited edition photos. We won't see Uncle Seungmin in blonde highlights anymore. Of course, I need to get profit from my hard work"
"Unnie, just buy the hair mascara"
"Oh, good idea"
"Ahh, mom! I almost won a deal!"
