That’s when Minho noticed a luggage bag a bit further into the apartment, his breath hitched, eyes zeroing in on the bags sitting there, shoes haphazardly thrown to the side. What the fuck. Suddenly it felt like he couldn’t breathe, surely not—
A door down the hall closed suddenly, soft footsteps heading towards him.
“Hyung,” they said, Minho’s eyes shot up from the bag to the figure standing in front of him. Minho blinked rapidly.
“What took you so long, hyung-ah?” Minho was going to scream. He was going to scream bloody murder and make everyone in the building, the city, concerned for his well being.
“What the fuck are you doing here, Kim Seungmin,” Minho felt an itch under his skin, or maybe he was just shaking that much— he was trying his best to ignore it.
“Is this how you thank me, hyung?” Seungmin whined, pouting. Minho was this close to breaking something, “I come home early to surprise you and you’re not happy?”

Everyone knew Lee Minho wasn’t a dog person. He would never, could never, be around a dog longer than he needs to.
But maybe he can make an exception for this one puppy he knew.
