Summary
Albus Dumbledore is exceptional, a child prodigy, adorned with prizes, praise, and the steady rise to fame. But he’s also lonely, now more than ever as his dreams to see the world are taken away and he's trapped in the dull, tiny town of Godric’s Hollow. His only company is the siblings in his care and the books on his shelf. Until he meets Gellert. Gellert is exceptional, a child prodigy, a genius. But he's bored and angry, kicked out of school and sent away from home in hopes his aunt will be able to coddle him back to the good boy he'd never really been.
Albus and Gellert have both spent so long living in a world no one else understood, and Gellert shows Albus how much more there is to life when that's embraced, not run from. Gellert, with his visions, his ideas of revolution, his pretty eyes, might be exactly what Albus needs to escape.
