Chapter Text
"If I was an intruder you'd be dead." Bond hissed. He had his arm pressed across Q's back to pin him to the bed.
Q yawned and pressed his face deeper into the pillow. When he spoke, his voice was raspy from sleep and muffled by the fabric. "At least I would still be sleeping, and not worrying about your muddy shoes on my carpet."
"I took them off at the door." Bond removed his arm and sat back on the bed. Q rolled over and squinted up at him. He smiled, rubbed his eyes and let them fall shut again.
"Oh, wonderful. You're learning." The quartermaster patted the space next to him. Bond, who had undressed down to his vest and boxers when he removed his shoes, lay obligingly down next to him. "I'll domesticate you one of these days."
"Many have tried."
"Many have tried most of the things I succeed at." Q pulled the covers up and moved his head to rest on Bond's shoulder.
Bond wrapped an arm around him and muttered into his hair, "Like fixing the printer?"
"Like training a double-oh agent to make me tea when he wakes up."
"Go to sleep."
"Mm, sounds like someone's just lost an argument."
"I'll forget the milk in your tea tomorrow."
"I'll use your favourite bowl to feed the cats."
