   Summary

It was stupid, really, he knew that. No matter how badly he wanted it, Mumbo wouldn’t remember what happened back in Last Life.

Mumbo wouldn’t remember warm nights filled with laughter around a campfire,
Mumbo wouldn’t remember holding spyglasses up to a sky of hopes and dreams,
Mumbo wouldn’t remember the husband he once had, long ago.

   Or

When Martyn wakes up in Secret Life, now with memories of all the games prior, he can’t stop thinking about the man he once married.
