    Summary

For Park Jihyo, silence has never been empty. A deaf first-grade teacher, she learned to build bridges through her hands, her gaze, and Brazilian Sign Language, even in a world that insists on treating her like someone who needs to be fixed.

Sana Minatozaki lives at the opposite extreme. The principal of a school in São Paulo, a trans woman and single mother to Hana, she spends her days surrounded by voices, demands, and an armor she has not taken off since her former wife left.

Then Sana begins learning Brazilian Sign Language.

What should have been nothing more than a gesture of respect turns into stolen lunches, hands that remain intertwined for a little too long, and a place where neither of them needs to explain herself.

Between prejudice, motherhood, dysphoria, desire, and a little girl who discovers that love can also be spoken with one's fingers, Sana and Jihyo begin building a family in a language that never needed sound.
