Summary
Peter Parker has survived aliens, gods, monsters, and the impossible, but Gwen Stacy was never supposed to become one of them. What begins as a friendship after graduation slowly becomes something neither Gwen nor Peter knows how to name: a quiet, consuming love built from late-night conversations, coffee and tea, shared beds, old wounds, and the terrifying realization that another person can become home. But loving Peter Parker has never meant being safe. When Gwen is pulled into a world of magic, the Scarlet Witch, and power she was never meant to possess, the life they imagined begins to fracture. Every choice carries a cost. Every attempt to save someone threatens to destroy something else. And when Peter makes the kind of sacrifice only Peter Parker would make, Gwen is left without the person who had become the anchor to her life, and with one impossible question:
How far would you go to undo the one moment you cannot survive?
Iris is a story about loving someone beyond reason, surviving the person you become after losing them, and learning that moving forward does not mean abandoning who came before. Because sometimes saving Peter Parker doesn’t mean bringing him back in the same form.
