Work Text:

Bob was waiting for Randy, he was lying face down in bed. His parent’s wouldn’t be home until 6 in the morning, and he was bored. His head turned to the door when he heard the handle turn.

”Took you long enough, Adderson,” Bob grumbled.

Randy rolled his eyes, and shut the door behind himself.

”At least I’m here. Luckily my nënë didn’t see me leave, she would’ve made me bring a gift again,” Randy responded. He flopped onto the bed next to Bob, his face turned to the wall.

Bob huffed, and rolled onto his back.

”Gift? You mean food? She acts as if I’m wasting away, yet I’m fat,” Bob muttered.

“You’re like a kilo over the ‘healthy’ weight, you’re not fat,” Randy argued, and rolled his eyes.

”That’s like two pounds! I’m still overweight” Bob whined.

Randy rolled onto his side to look at Bob.

”BMI doesn’t count muscle or fat, Bob,” Randy stated.

Bob huffed and glared at Randy.

”Okay, ‘science guy’. Keep talking and I’m telling your grandma you’re starving me,” he threatened.

Randy couldn’t speak before Bob started again.

”It’s a hyperbole, Andy. I’m not being serious,” he responded dryly.

There was a small moment of silence.

Bob broke the silence.

”I’m tired,” he mumbled.

”Then sleep,” Randy replied.

”You’re not being nice,” Bob whined, and crossed his arms.

Randy stared at Bob for a few seconds before pulling him to lay down in front of him.

Bob didn’t fight him and went limp as he hit the mattress. He mumbled a quiet “finally”, and leaned back into Randy’s chest.

Randy tightened his arm around Bob’s waist, as he knew that “finally” was the closest he would get to a thank-you from Bob.

Bob of course still had a complaint.

”Get your knee off of me.”

Randy rolled his eyes, but pulled his leg down.

Bob had now run out of things to complain about, so he just closed his eyes, and huffed.

The harsh light of the sun woke Bob up, the clocked by the bed said “5:01” and he didn’t want to be here when he parents got home, just to be showered in cash and ignored. He hid his face in Randy’s neck to block out the light.

“Hey, bigfoot. Wake up,” Bob said into Randy’s neck, his voice was slightly muffled.

”What?” Randy asked, he woke up from the warmth of Bob’s breath agains his neck. He opened his eyes to look down at him.

“Hmph. I’m hungry, and since you brought nothing last night, you’re the one feeding me,” Bob insisted. He acts like this every time Randy doesn’t bring food (Even if he acts like he hates it).

Randy sat up and stretched his arms above his head. He grabbed his phone off the nightstand and stared at the lock screen for a couple seconds, then he tossed it onto the rug beside the bed.

”My nënë’s making byrek, and she always makes too much for 6 people,” Randy commented.

”She always does,” Bob responded and rolled his eyes. He wasn’t wrong, she did make too much food a lot.

Bob thought for a few seconds, he’s only ever eaten like one thing that Randy’s grandmother had made, and that was Tavë Kosi—he had mixed feelings about it, but it wasn’t terrible.

”Good, because I don’t want some random junk from the store right now.”
