   Summary

   Nine years after Harry Potter broke her heart, Ginny Weasley has mostly figured out how to have him in her life: occasionally, politely, and preferably with several other Weasleys in the room and a decent amount of alcohol involved.

   Then the brother of a missing witch asks Ginny to look into a disappearance the Aurors have already written off.

   What begins as a small investigation quickly becomes something stranger: a frightened woman, a vanished artefact, a number that keeps appearing where it shouldn’t, and a trail that seems to reach much further into the past than Ginny expected.

   Unfortunately, it also puts her directly in the path of Harry, now Head Auror, and forces them into closer proximity than either of them has had to tolerate in years.

   Features sharp, relentless Ginny; restrained, emotionally constipated Harry; Ministry secrets; unresolved history; and a very slow return to familiarity.
