Summary
When the Matrix of Leadership is restored, Optimus Prime returns—only to discover that nearly six years have passed for everyone else. Years he lived as Orion Pax. Years he cannot remember.
A young sparkling calls him Daddy. Arcee can’t even look at him. His quarters have become a home he doesn’t recognize.
Orion left behind recordings of the life he built and memories Optimus can choose to accept. But remembering a life is not the same as having lived it, and loving the family Orion entrusted to him may not be enough to make that family his.
