Summary
Kim Hongjoong couldn't escape his past no matter how hard he tried. Between every drink and every cigarette, it was impossible to avoid the ache in his chest and the memories of his father leaving him and his mother for a different life. He hated him, he hated himself, but he desperately believed that if he could simply scrub off his sexuality and change who he was--it would bring his father back. All he had to do was try.
But when he comes face to face with the boy full of everything beautiful from his past, he starts to forget what he was trying to achieve in the first place. Every crack in his heart will try to mend itself, only to be shattered again due to the pain he inflicts on the one person who loved him the most--like a sacrifice to regain everything he lost.
