    Word of Robin's death spread quickly within Gotham.

     

    Batman seen patrolling the streets without a bird at his side. More morose, more violent, more punishing. His crusade had become more bloody than it had ever been. Criminals were quickly learning to stay out of his way while he grieved. He was more dangerous than ever before. It was a grief that landed brutally. Robin was seen as the light to Batman's darkness, a general understanding that he kept Batman sane and human. He was what kept Batman calm, reminded Batman what his mission was for. Now that was gone. The spark of hope had been cruelly extinguished, and Gotham's vigilante was certainly suffering for it.

     

    But he wasn't the only one.
