   Summary

The sickening weight of everything pressed in. And with shame washing away all other potential distractions or the ability to ignore it the way he always did, Jax did what he always hid from the others.

   He drowned.

   ***

Alternatively, I wrangle Jax into a redemption arc as he semi-returns to the circus. Also, he's in the company of a certain programmer's dead wife.
