Lemonade just dropped, and because of its success, the girls decided they would take a small break! They settled whole week trip in Egypt and spend it at the beach, of course!
They left on the 3rd of June, and just settled in that day, getting two separate rooms
Karina and Winter
Giselle and NingNing
NingNing basically skipped inside as she pushed her suitcase inside, walking towards the balcony window as she opened the door, stepping into the salty air of Hurghada's beach.
─ "Aeri-unnie! Come!"
Giselle smiled as she fixed the two suitcases, placing them close to the door and putting the key cards on a safe spot, aka on a some random table.
She walked towards the maknae, and her jaw dropped at the beautiful sight, as NingNing looked at her, smiling,
─ "Isn't it beautiful??"
─ "it is!"
─ "So I did have a good idea with Egypt?"
─ "Yes, you did, Ningningie," Giselle spoke, stealing a kiss from her beloved girlfriend
NingNing smiled as Giselle's action, her hands moving to rest on Giselle's cheeks, closing her eyes before finally parting. She turned to the room, speaking again,
─ "I'll go open our bags!"
Giselle nodded, her hand lingering on the other girl's arm as she headed inside, now left alone in the balcony. She turned towards the sea, leaning against the railing, jaw in her palm as she admired the stretched blue waters in front of her.
NingNing sat on the on the ground, taking a quick drag of her vape before starting to open hers and her girlfriend's bags. She took out various clothes, even though they were staying there for only a week. When she was hanging their clothes on some hangers in the wardrobe, she could hear Giselle talking with someone on the phone, probably Winter or Karina, and couldn't help but eavesdrop a little.
To be honest, she didn't understand much, but Yizhuo knew it was something about the trip. The maknae shrugged it off, and took out whatever clothes they had left
Giselle walked back in, and collapsed on the bed, letting out a loud groand as she buried her face in a pillow she found on the surface, curling up under the sheets.
Yizhuo let out a laugh at Giselle's dramatic actions, and she stood up from her crouched position, walking to the side of the bed and settling on the edge. Yizhuo leaned on her arm, looking down at her girlfriend,
─ "What happened-?" She asked with a laugh
─ "Winter!" Giselle spoke, voice muffled due to the pillow, "She already wants to go out.."
─ "And what did you say?"
─ "I don't know.. I just said 'Sure'.." She admitted, "I don't want to go though.. We settled on relaxing in our rooms today"
─ "Then why did you agree??"
─ "I dunno!"
Giselle threw her hands up in the air, finally getting her face out of the pillow, turning towards NingNing. Yizhuo looked at the pillow Giselle just buried her face in, and paused, before barking out a laugh
─ "And what are you laughing at-?!" The other woman scolded
─ "Look at your pillow-!"
Giselle raised an eyebrow as she eyed Yizhuo, before turning towards the pillow, and her face dropped─ Make-up. The white sheet had her make-up imprinted on the material, taking in her foundation, blush, contour.. All on the white sheet.
─ "We just got here, Unnie.." Yizhuo sighed, grabbing the pillow from Giselle's view, and Giselle just stared
─ "I.. Didnt think of that-"
─ "I figured." Yizhuo laughed
Giselle sighed, taking off the cover from the pillow. She got off the bed and headed to the bathroom, running hot water in the sink and just left the pillow cover there with some soap.
─ "Soo… at what time does Minjeong-Unnie want to go out?" The younger asked from the bed, taking a drag from her vape as she texted away on theikkkkr group chat.
─ "In an hour," Giselle answered, walking back inside the room. She bent down, stealing a drag from NingNing,
─ "Good?"
─ "Yeah," She nodded, "Ill go change. Were going to the beach so take your swim suit, okay?"
NingNing nodded, a smile appearing on her face as she jumped off the bed, already walking to the closet to change.
Giselle was the first to finish, as she already had an outfit in mind. She sat down in front of a mirror, fixing her makeup that was messed from the pillow.
NingNing's phone rang just as she came back, grabbing her phone from her bed to answer. Looking at the ID, she saw Winter calling,
─ "NingNing-ah!" Winter spoke, and Yizhuo could hear footsteps on the ceramic floor of the hotel
─ "Minjeong-Unnie!" NingNing spoke, "Are you guys on your way here?"
*─ "Yup! We'll be there in a couple minutes. Can we stay in your room for a bit?"
─ "Yup! Were not done anyway-"
Giselle turned, watching NingNing as she talked on the phone. She eyed the woman, her eyes following her up and down as she took in her outfit─ A dark button-up shirt and some shorts over a one-piece swimsuit, with silver accents and openings around the hips. She couldn't help but stare as her girlfriend spoke on the phone with another member.
NingNing could feel the eyes on her, and just smiled, before hanging up with Winter. She took a few steps towards the other woman, looking down at her as she continued her makeup,
─ "And what were you looking at?" Yizhuo asked, her arms wrapping around Giselle's neck, hanging on her chest
─ "What? Cant I stare at my girlfriend anymore?"
─ "Well-" Yizhuo laughed, pressing a kiss to the other's cheek, leaving a small lipstick mark, "Jimin and Minjeong unnie are coming over before going out."
Giselle nodded, applying some eyeshadow to her eyes.
Yizhuo snaked her arms away from Giselle, settling on the bed as she took out her phone, scrolling through whatever social media she was on, taking puffs from her vape every now and then, then letting out smoke and filling the air with the smell of vanilla and strawberry
Reposting a post of Giselle's, a knock came from the door, and Yizhuo stood up to open it, on the other side being two familiar figures.
Winter smiled as she looked at Yizhuo, and the youngest quickly let them in.
Karina walked quickly after her, and couldn't help but look around their room, inspecting their bathroom and closet. Eventually, she settled on the bed, where Yizhuo used to sit, and leaned back, the mattress dipping to her weight as Winter joined beside her
─ "We're going out right?" Giselle asked, getting up from her chair
─ "Mhm!" Winter nodded, "I was thinking of going to the beach and maybe checking out some shops in the area? "
─ "Well, lets get going, no?" Yizhuo interrupted, already putting on her shoes
─ "Weren't they staying-"
─ "Go."
─ "Jeez, okay-" Giselle stood up, putting on some black shorts and a white beach shirt, already wearing her swim suit.

The water was warm when when Karina's feet sunk in the sand, the tide hitting her skin every time it came up to the shore. Winter walked beside her, her sun dress flowing in the wind as she spoke up,
─ "It's very pretty."
─ "Yeah," the older nodded, "NingNing chose well"
Winter smiled at Karina's words, looking back at the milky water in front of them, the sun low on the sky.
Jimin admired the view for a couple more moments, turning to look down at Winter, only to see her taking off her sundress and leaving it on her shoes,
─ "Minjeong-"
─ "come on! It's warm! "
The two girls went in the water, with Jimin barely being able to take off her own clothes, revealing a sleek two-piece swim suit underneath, laughing as Winter dragged her in the blue waters
Winter laughed as she splashed her leader with water, going deeper into the water, so it wouldn't reach their knees anymore. Karina wiped the salty water from her face, still laughing lightly, before looking back at the shore
─ "Aeri and Yizhuo didn't come in the water yet.." Jimin spoke, turning toward Winter
─ "Yeah," Minjeong trailed off, "I wonder what theyre doing."
─ "Aeri-unnie!" NingNing called out, pointing to a cat magnet, with a text saying "EGYPT" on the side, "Isnt it cute?"
─ "Mhm!"
─ "Can we buy it?"
─ "Well.." Aeri trailed off, before standing up straight, looking around the coastal shop, "Why don't we look around for more? I mean, we barely came in."
The Chinese woman paused, eying the magnet, before taking it, grabbing a small, wood basket from beside the counter, placing the magnet inside, "Sure, but I'm taking the magnet with me."
Giselle shrugged, while Yizhuo just seemed pleased with herself, browsing through the souvenir shop, eying the black statuettes and pyramids displayed throughout the store. It was nice and quiet, well, until the shop owner approached them,
─ "Are you looking for anything ladies?" The man spoke, in accented english
─ "Not anything specific, no," Giselle spoke, pulling NingNing closer by the waist as she continued looking through the small cat statues, "we'll figure it out. We're just looking around anyway."
─ "Are you sure?" He continued, grabbing a stated of Nefertiti, "This is only 7 dolla-"
─ "Yes, We are sure. We don't need your help."
NingNing finally looked up, taking in the situation, and she couldn't help but glare a bit at the shopkeeper. The man rolled his eyes, eventually returning back to his spot, but still staring at the two of them throughout their whole stay.
Yizhuo placed the basket on the counter, inside only being the magnet and a couple other items. The shopkeeper scanned them out, before speaking,
─ "27 dollars."
─ "22 dollars." Yizhuo spoke, taking her stuff back and dropping them into a plastic bag they took,
─ "no, 27 dollars." the shopkeeper negotiated
─ "23?" Yizhuo negotiated
─ "..." The shopkeeper paused, his eyes narrowing as he looked at his client, "25 is the lowest I'll go."
─ "Twenty-four or I'm leaving everything."
The man paused, watching NingNing as she pulled out the money from her wallet, before sighing reluctantly, "Fine"
NingNing smiled, pleased with herself, taking the bag and exiting the store, with a sly smile,
─ "Have a nice day." Giselle spoke, following Yizhuo as they walked back to the beach.
There wasn't a day where Yizhuo didn't complain about the sand getting stuck in her sandals, and Giselle couldn't help but laugh whenever she did. Reaching their beach chairs, winter's familiar voice called out from the water,
─ "Where were you guys!" She walked out the water, jogging towards the girlfriends, "We thought you ditched us and remained at the hotel!"
─ "Some souvenir shop close," Giselle shrugged, watching as NingNing poured out all the things they bought from the bag
─ "Look what we got!" She exclaimed, spreading everything on the plastic, as Karina
─ "You guys already went to stores?" Karina asked, holding both hers and Winter's slippers and cover-ups
─ "Nah, I just wanted to check it out, see what they have 'round here." Yizhuo cleared up
Karina's mouth snapped an 'o', nodding as she looked down at the souvenirs, "ahh, okay."
Winter rummaged, the black cat statue NingNing was looking at earlier catching her attention. She picked it up, showing it to the other girls as water dripped off her,
─ "Look!" Minjeong smiled, "It's very pretty! "
─ "Yeah, I thought so too! Thats why I bought it," Yizhuo smiled back, patting the cat a few times, "It catches my eye as well and she was too pretty to not buy."
─ "This too," Karina added, poking a small magnet with Nefertiti on it.
Yizhuo nodded, taking off whatever clothing she had, and only remaining in her swim wear, turning towards Giselle, "You coming in?"
─ "Duh? Thats what the beach is for, Yizhuo-ah." Aeri stripper off her blouse and pants, stepping back into her slippers as she already started to walk towards the sea, the other three soon following behind
NingNing let out a pleased whine as she submerged herself in the water, "Ahh! The temperature's so good!"
─ "Thats what I said when I got in! " Winter exclaimed, heading to deeper water, basically where her and Karina were originally staying before they left.
The four chatted, splashing each other with the sea water every now and then, enjoying the warm water and cool breeze in the air.
NingNing lowered herself in the water, letting out a pleased sigh, her head falling back. Giselle smiled at the sight, and swam towards her girlfriend,
─ "Aeri-unnie," Yizhuo spoke up, looking up at her girlfriend, "Come sit with me"
─ "No," She teased
─ "Why not?" Yizhuo whined, playfully, and Giselle just laughed, eventually lowering herself in the water besides the other woman, just smiling widely at her
Yizhuo stared, watching how her girlfriend lowered herself in the water, and visibly loosened as the water hit the upper part of her body. She smiled as Giselle let out a pleased hum,
─ "Careful do you don't mess up your makeup again by getting in the water."
─ "Oh, shut up-" Aeri laughed, rolling her eyes as she turned
NingNing laughed as Giselle splashed her, lightly, before just smiling. The waves shuddered beside them, crashing at the shore and then returning back to the ocean. NingNing sat back down, to her spot, speaking up,
─ "MY loved Lemonade." Yizhuo said
─ "Well, they should've." Aeri commented, scooting closer to her, "it might be our last comeback together, y'know?"
─ "No it won't.. I'm sure of it." Yizhuo denied, shaking her head as she turned towards Giselle, "Don't say that."
─ "It's true though." She shrugged
A short silence fell upon them, where they just listened. Yizhuo's eyes caught a colorful fish swimming at their fish, and she just pointed towards it, Giselle's eyes just following the tip of her finger as she spotted it. Giselle stepped back as a small school of fishes swam right after the colorful fish.
─ "So many fish.." Giselle spoke, before being interrupted by NingNing
─ "Yeah, but it's not as pretty as this one, " She pointed towards the colorful fish, as it approached another of the same species.
Both of them eyes the fish as they started swimming away together, and Yizhuo immediately spoke up,
─ "Thats us, Aeri-unnie!" Yizhuo exclaimed, as they watched the fish swim away
Giselle laughed, standing at her full height. Yizhuo followed as her girlfriend stood up,
─ "I think I'll go back to our room," Giselle smiled, "You can go with Minjeongie and Jiminie to shops."
─ "Ill walk you back to our room!" NingNing exclaimed, already following Giselle back to the shore, "Jimin and Minjeong are already out, Ill ask them if they want to go out now after we dry off!"
Giselle nodded, as they continued walking towards land. The water was going out, it was ebb tide, and puddles of water were beginning to form due to the small water in Egypt. Yizhuo also noticed the starfish beginning to come out of their little caves.
─ "Did you know that during low tides, many starfish come out here? There can be hundreds or even thousands when the low tide is full." Yizhuo spoke, trying to not step on any starfish
─ "How'd you know?"
─ "A friend told me." NingNing skipped over a coral.
Karina looked up as she heard footsteps in water, already finding Giselle and NingNing walking towards them. She nudged Winter, and pointed towards the two, and the woman immediately smiled,
─ "Aeri-unnie! Ningi! You guys are out already?! " she called out,
─ "Yeah- We saw you guys not here anymore and decided to come out as well," NingNing ran a hand through her hair, before adding, "And Aeri wants to go back to our room. We're still going out right?"
─ "Wait what? Why aren't you coming, Aeri-ah?" Jimin tilted her head, putting on her open shirt and some shorts
Giselle smiled.
─ "Just tired, nothing much."
Jimin nodded, followed by Winter, pleased with the answer. NingNing spoke up, drying herself off with a towel and dressing,
─ "Ill walk you back to our room," She turned towards Karina and Winter, "Wait for me here, okay?"
The girls nodded as Giselle and NingNing started walking back. Aeri couldn't help but reach out for her hand, squeezing it the moment she grabbed it. They walked back, in a comfortable silence, before Giselle pulled out the key card from her bag.
─ "Why are you taking out the key card now-?" NingNing asked, amused as they walked to their room through the simple halls of their hotel.
─ "Why not?"
─ "You could lose it-"
─ "No, I could not!" Giselle retorted, rolling her eyes as she pressed the elevator button, before putting her key card wonkily in her pocket
As they walked in, none of them Realized how the only key to their room fell out of Giselle's pocket, and only when she tried reaching for it,
─ "I told you you'll loose it!" Yizhuo spoke, as they walked to the reception
─ "Yeah, yeah- I know!" Aeri rolled her eyes, "Its not a big deal!"
Yizhuo groaned as she looked at the older,
─ "What if they'll charge us for losing it?"
─ "Yizhuo, honey, we are idols, we have the money to pay for it," Giselle said, like it was the most obvious thing ever, and it was honestly
─ "Yes, but still!"
Giselle just laughed as they approached the reception, and Yizhuo just let out a heavy sigh, as they reached
─ "Hello, Mrs Ning and Mrs Uchinaga. How may I help you two?" The receptionist said, a kind Egyptian woman, taller than them
─ "We lost our key card, could we take another?" Yizhuo spoke
─ "Yes, of course-! Room number?"
─ "Ah, it's 1553." Giselle answered, and the receptionist turned towards her, before taking out a key card from under the reception table.
NingNing took it, and placed it in her pocket, with a small smile, "Do we have to pay you anything for the lost keycard?"
─ "No worries! It's okay, we have plenty of key cards."
Yizhuo nodded, gratefully, giving a small thanking bow before heading back to their room, with Giselle following.
NingNing pushed the key card in, and the card reader let out a beep, before pushing it open. She watched as Giselle walked inside and leaned against the doorframe, crossing her arms over her chest.
─ "You sure you dont want to stay?" Giselle asked, turning around to face her girlfriend, and Yizhuo just shook her head
─ "It's okay. I'm not that tired anyway."
Giselle nodded, taking a few steps towards NingNing, before pressing a quick kiss to her lips, taking her sweet time to do so. NingNing sat up right, cupping Giselle's face with her hands. As Aeri pulled away, Yizhuo stared at her for a couple seconds, before pulling her back.
Giselle laughed as they finally pulled away, and just spoke up softly,
─ "Have fun with Winter and Karina."
─ "We will."
─ "And be careful."
Yizhuo smiled, sweetly, before nodding,
─ "I will."
