Work Text:

Eijiro Kirishima is a good guy.

During the week, he has a part-time job at the local ramen shop. It’s right next to his house, 10 minutes away from the university, pays well enough to manage his day-to-day life as a student who still relies on his parents for help. He has a girlfriend, Mina Ashido, and they have been together since the final year of middle school, when she asked him out because he was too much of a chicken to do it. He’s planning to propose on graduation day (they’re young, he knows, but he can’t wait any longer to put a ring on her finger), so all of his hard-earned money is going towards the ring and the main event, aside from rent.

On Saturdays, he volunteers at the local veterinary clinic, which gives him a lot of experience. He’s in his sixth year of the veterinary program, and they have offered him an internship (that could eventually be a job position) as soon as he graduates. Mina is finishing her masters, she’s working as a Lab Technician, and she’s getting ready to move in later this week.

Most people would describe Kirishima as a good guy, and he would like to think he’s a good guy too. He’s funny, smart and athletic. He helps old ladies cross the roads and beats bad guys up if they’re bothering anyone. He’ll tend to the flowers on the community gardens and if you ask him to walk your dog he’ll do it, even though he’s allergic. As a vet, and a customer service worker, he has seen a lot, so he’s not surprised by much. Until, of course, Katsuki Bakugo sat him down at the end of his shift and proffered words he never thought he would hear coming from that specific person.

“I’m in love.” Katsuki states, his fingers intertwined as he sits his elbows on the light wood table.

He almost looks like an anime character. Kirishima doesn’t have the time to think about that, though. He’s too busy staring at him in silence, wide-eyed and mouth agape. His brain stopped working, he’s trying to understand if this is a joke or even a prank, but it’s not April Fools and Katsuki is not really a prank guy.

“Bro, I…” he starts, hoping the words decide to show up as he goes on. They don’t.

“I’m in love and I’m gonna marry the fuck out of him.”

Kirishima jumps in his seat “Calm down! What is going on?”

You see, Kirishima thinks that Katsuki Bakugo is a good guy too. A little sharp around the edges, but he’s a good guy. He’s doing a masters in Chemical Engineering, he’s in his final year and he’s top of his class too. He works with Mina in the lab and tutors the first and second year students to earn extra credit. Despite his angry and rough demeanor, he always pushes you to be the best. And, somehow, you do end up being the best.

Another thing about Katsuki is that he has never been in love. They’ve been friends since the beginning of university and quickly evolved to best friends, Kirishima being the one to work around his fiery attitude. As soon as Mina introduced them, he knew they would become best friends. But Katsuki had never been in love, not out loud and not like this, not ever. Kirishima doesn’t remember him ever having a crush, and even though he kissed a guy in high school it never went past that (“I didn’t know if I was gay, after that I did. End of story. I gave him a mint gum anyway.” Katsuki had explained). No one night stands, no sneaky links and not even a peck on the lips between friends. It’s safe to say, Kirishima was not expecting this after a rather peaceful shift during finals week.

“Are you… joking Kats? Is this a joke?” Kirishima hesitates, he doesn’t want to hurt Katsuki’s feelings.

“It’s not a joke. He’s mine and I’m in love with him.”

Kirishima waves his hand “Bro I don’t want to make you feel… unsure about your feelings, but what is happening? You’ve never shown interest towards anyone in your entire life.”

Katsuki lays back on the chair and sighs profoundly. He looks out the window and smiles longingly. Smiles? Kirishima is losing his mind. Has he inhaled any of Mina's chemicals?

“This one’s different.”

Kirishima decides to accept it. Katsuki Bakugo is in love.

“Alright,” he slaps the table “I’m happy for you man. Who is he?”

Katsuki shrugs “I have absolutely no idea.”

If Eijiro had a heart monitor, it would be beeping by now. He makes a mental note to check the apartment for different chemicals as soon as he gets there. Maybe he ate a bad clam?

“What do you mean you don’t know?”

“Here’s the sitch. Tape Face called me last night and asked me if I wanted to go to the bar, there was this huge party or whatever to kick off finals week.” he starts “I was pretty bored so I went, and had the day off too. I got shitfaced.”

Kirishima nods. It’s the most he can do right now. He’s memorizing every detail because he’s a good boyfriend and Mina will know about this.

“The night is a blur after I sat down, I only remember a few parts. There was a guy talking to me… he was serving me drinks and eventually stopped giving them to me. He said my biggest flaw was how much I drank and that as a chemical engineer I should know better about the interaction of substances.”

Katsuki was smiling, he was completely lost in his thoughts. The soft and kind smile was soon replaced with a determined look.

“I have to find him.”

“What was his name?”

“I have no idea. Kiri…” KIRI?! “I have to find him.”

The duties of a best friend.

“So let me get this straight. You’re in love with a guy whose name you don’t know and whose appearance you don’t fully remember. All you remember is that he insulted you in a… weird way?”

“He was being charming as fuck.”

“What did he look like?”

“Like the man of my dreams.”

“Do you have any pictures?”

“One.” he pulls out his phone and scrolls through his gallery. He gives his phone to Kirishima.

Katsuki is holding the guy, but he has his back turned to the camera. His friend is visibly drunk, and the guy his hugging him. All he can see is the back of his head and green curls. Katsuki is smirking and looking at the camera. The next photo is the same thing, but this time he’s kissing the green-haired guy’s neck.

“Woah dude, did you make out?”

“No!” He slaps the table “I tried! But that sweet dream of a man didn’t let me kiss him! Something about wanting me to do it sober or whatever.”

“Alright, but you’re not giving me much info here man. What colour were his eyes?”

“Beautiful.”

“Alright.”

Kirishima looks at the picture again. Something about it seems familiar, but he can’t quite reach it. He stares at the picture and zooms in, looking for any small clues, but it’s all a blur.

“Have you gone to the bar? Maybe he was a waiter there. He seems familiar but I can’t put my finger on it.”

“Good, don’t perceive him.” Katsuki takes his phone back “Do you think I could get something at the bar? Do you think he’ll be there? Do you think he’ll give me a chance?”

His heart melts at the sight of his best friend in love. He had never seen him so vulnerable and worried about someone, so hopelessly desperate for someone. Whoever that is, he must have given Katsuki a real challenge to make him fall like that.

Eijiro Kirishima is a good guy. He loves and supports his friends, especially Katsuki Bakugo, who had been emotionally constipated until last night. So he punches his friend’s shoulder playfully and smiles wide, hoping it attracts luck and love for his best friend.

“Go get your husband.”

.𖥔 ݁ ˖𓂃.☘︎ ݁˖

Katsuki leaves Kirishima at the table and paces to the bar. It’s not far, just ten minutes away from where he was right now. He puts his hands on his pockets, shivering from the cold. It was just past midday and he barely had a hangover, as soon as he woke up he knew he had to go look for mystery man.

It sounds crazy, he knows, but he can’t help but feel obsessed. He closes his eyes as he walks through the streets, hoping to remember any specific details that suggest him a specific person. He remembered the warmth of his body, how beautiful his laugh sounded, and those eyes… those beautiful green eyes. As he reaches the bar, he remembers counting freckles when he leaned in to kiss him (“No kissing,” Dream-Man stated, covering Katsuki’s mouth with his own hand “If you want to kiss me you’ll do it when you’re sober.”). He yearns to feel his lips touching Dream-Man’s, and he knows he can’t finish his day without knowing what it feels like.

He quickens his pace as soon as he sees the bar entrance. It almost looked like a regular café, but it was mostly frequented by students who wanted to wind off after a long day of lectures and homework. If he didn’t know better, he’d say it was open all day and all night.

Katsuki takes a breath as he goes in, hoping to find Dream-Man standing at the balcony. Maybe he was a new waiter there, he had never seen him before because if he had, he would have been dating him as soon as he laid his eyes on him. Which is what he planned to do now.

He opens the familiar door and takes in his surroundings. There’s a few students doing their homework on the corner and the owner, Shota Aizawa, is watching television. Apart from them the space is pretty much empty, but it’s too early for anyone to come in anyway. Katsuki takes it as an opportunity to stomp towards the table where Aizawa is sitting unbothered, hoping to get some answers.

“Oi, old man.” he calls out, blocking his view.

“Oh, feral beast Bakugo, how surprising to see you here being so nice.”

“I don’t have time for snarky remarks. Where’s the waiter from last night?”

The other man raises an eyebrow “What waiter?”

“Tch, don’t get smart. Green hair, freckles, that one. You don’t even know your own staff?”

Aizawa looks surprised. Katsuki doesn’t like that.

“I don’t know what you’re talking about. There was no other waiter.”

Fuck. Fuckity fuck fuck. How was there no waiter if he had been handling their drinks all night? For fuck’s sake, he was behind the counter at some point, how doesn’t he remember that? He has to find him, he has a physical and psychological urge to find him.

“You did look wasted last night. How’s that hangover going for you?”

“I don’t get hangovers, losers get hangovers. I need to find that guy.”

Aizawa sighs “Listen, whatever you decide, I don’t need to know who you’re picking a fight with. Just do it outside of the bar and leave your hatred in the bin.”

“I have the opposite of a problem with that guy. I need to find him so I can kiss him and tell him he’s mine.”

Aizawa looks even more surprised. Bakugo needs to be forward with his feelings no matter what, he needs the world to know that he years for a beautiful smile, plush tights and squishy face that he couldn’t stop kissing. It’s the only thing he was allowed to kiss. If the guy didn’t want to be found, why did he let him do that? It’s only logical to assume that he wants Katsuki to find him and claim him before the world.

He has never felt this before, it’s like he’s about to burst.

“Whatever you’re looking for, I don’t know about it. You were pretty cozied up with a boy last night though.”

His heart pounds in his chest. He feels like he’s close to something, to someone.

“Do you… know who he was?”

Aizawa runs his hand through his face “You’re so possessive over someone whose name you don’t even know?”

Bakugo huffs “Names don’t matter when my feelings surpass anything and anyone.”

“That doesn’t make sense.”

Bakugo does something he never does, he admits defeat towards Aizawa. He’s known him since the beginning of college, it’s safe to say that he frequents the bar enough to be called a loyal customer, especially on BBQ day. He pulls a chair and sits down in front of him.

“Listen, I need to find him.”

“What if he doesn’t want to be found?”

Bakugo stares at the opposite side and bites his bottom lip. He’s scared that when they see each other again maybe the guy changed his mind and doesn’t want to see him again. Maybe he took Dream-Man’s drunk thoughts too seriously but he had become truly infatuated. What if, in the end, Katsuki was setting himself up for failure? But what if, in the end, he did want to be found? Afterall, before they parted ways, Dream-Man told him to find him again. No contact information, nothing. “I want destiny to put us in the same place again.” he had said. Unfortunately for him, Katsuki wasn’t to keen on destiny dictating this cosmically fated connection.

What he felt was true. What he felt was real. It wasn’t the result of a drunk night at a local bar. It was pure and genuine.

“I need to find him.”

Aizawa sighs. He feels empathetic towards Bakugo, truly, and he respects how he has always been a little insane. Just the right amount.

“Listen, kid, I don’t know who he was. He was either a freshman,” Katsuki hopes not, he’d feel so guilty “or he was visiting someone. Maybe he doesn’t come here much or he doesn’t even go out. Either way, I saw him leaving with a group of girls and that Todoroki kid.”

Todoroki.

God damn fucking Shoto Todoroki.

Katsuki’s eye twitches at the thought. He knows Todoroki, they had been partners for a few projects and Katsuki had always found him stoically annoying. He was majoring in something else, hell he could be majoring in telling the weather for all he cared, but if he was Katsuki’s lead to the man of his dreams then so be it.

He gets up, pushing back the chair and walking towards the door “Alright, thanks old man.”

“No problem Romeo. Information doesn’t come for free, though.”

Katsuki stops in his tracks. The old man got him.

“Tch. One green tea to go.”

.𖥔 ݁ ˖𓂃.☘︎ ݁˖

Today, records had been broken. Katsuki is sure he had broken the sound barrier for how fast he was running to the library, where Todoroki probably was. It’s not unusual for Katsuki to see him there with his dorky group of friends. For some reason, the rich asshole decided they were friends and approaches him whenever he goes to the coffee machine. After stating that he wasn’t interested in him, or anyone, Todoroki told him not to worry about it, he wasn’t looking for love, he just liked how their friendship developed after a group project.

“Friendship” he tends to say. The other members were useless and they were the ones who picked up the project. Katsuki doesn’t remember exactly what he’s studying, but it has something to do with law and the environment. Either way, he’s usually expressionless, annoying, disctracted and gets on Katsuki’s nerves.

Katsuki enters the library. It’s packed, which doesn’t surprise him since, you know, it’s finals week. He stops in his tracks and looks around, hoping to spot a half-red and half-white head. Maybe he should get some coffee first, seeing as he left the house as soon as he woke up. He threw the green tea away as soon as he left the store, he hates green tea.

The library was warm and noisy, which wasn’t really his favorite scenario. The things he does for love. He puts in his 50 cents and picks the most bitter coffee option. No sugar, no spice, no everything nice. He lays his head against the machine and closes his eyes as he waits for the coffee order to finish.

“Tsu-chan! Come sit next to us!” a familiar voice says.

Katsuki furrows his eyebrows as memories come to life. Chan… he had called him that last night. He pinches his nose, trying to form coherent thoughts.

“I can’t believe you’re calling me Deku because I spilled a drink! You’ll be… Kacchan. Yeah, Kacchan sounds right.” the green-haired beauty said as he caressed Katsuki’s cheeks.

Katsuki blushes as the thought. The machine beeps, signaling his order is over. He takes his coffee out and looks in the direction of the voice, who was calling the ‘Tsu-chan’ girl. There he saw Momo Yaoyorozu sitting with a girl (Tsu, he assumes) and Todoroki. Bingo. It’s the perfect opportunity to walk over and demand explanations in a polite way.

“Oi, fuckface.” Katsuki calls out and nods to the others as a way to greet them.

“Bakugo, I wasn’t expecting you here today.”

“You shouldn’t be expecting me anywhere, asshole.”

Momo laughs “Your friendship is amusing.”

“We’re not friends.” Katsuki snickers

“He’s one of my best friends.” Shoto says at the same time.

Katsuki takes the opportunity to sit down and take advantage of those words “As a friend, then, I need you to give me some information about someone.”

Todoroki puts down his pencil and hums.

“I don’t know that much about people but, sure.”

Katsuki’s eye twitches. He maintains his smile, despite the urge to blow up Todoroki’s face for being so cool and calm.

“You were with someone last night, and that someone was with me too. I need to find him.”

“I was with Sero last night and you did come with him, why don’t you just call him up?”

“This fucking-” he breathes “If it was Hanta I would call him up but it’s not. Green hair, flowy curls, beautiful smile, amazing freckles. You were with him.”

“Oh!” Tsu interjects “Oh, alright!”

He lifts his eyebrow and looks at her, why is she meddling in on the conversation?

“You got anything to say, frog face?” she shakes her head “That’s what I thought. Now, where is he?”

“Why do you want to know?”

“Because he’s the love of my life and I’m going to marry him someday.”

Momo shrieks so loud the whole room went quiet and looked at them. She covered her mouth and blushed. She looked around and apologized, going back to her work as quickly as possible. She was writing frenetically, even her handwriting drifted away from the carefully curated strokes they were all used to. She was blushing and Katsuki, being the observant yearning man he undoubtedly was, found that to be very suspicious.

“You got anything to say?” he asked her.

“M-Me? I have nothing to say!”

“You’re acting weird.”

“Weird? I’m not weird!” her usual composed manner was nowhere to be found. Katsuki shoves Todoroki out of the bench and sits in his place, right next to her.

“Spill it, ponytail.”

“I-I…” she looks at Tsu, who blushes in return and nods “I think that you should go to the ceramics workshop and ask for Ochaco Uraraka.”

“Alright!” he gets up and looks at Todoroki, who’s sitting on the floor “I knew you’d be useless! Thanks, see you around!”

“Bye!” the girls said as he walked away.

“Thanks for the coffee!”

Right, he didn’t even drink it.

.𖥔 ݁ ˖𓂃.☘︎ ݁˖

According to his own experience, the way to the ceramics workshop was only 7 minutes and 45 seconds if you were coming from the library. It was the opposite building from where Katsuki usually had his classes, and there had been more than one occasion where the art students would come out of the room covered in clay from head to toe, right next to his classroom.

He knew who Uraraka was, she was friends with Mina. They never spoke much apart from a few hangouts, but she wasn’t too bad. From what Mina said at their last hang out, her friend was being transferred to this university soon and they would be living together. He was invited to as an investigator, apparently he had just gotten his education degree and was preparing to partake in a PhD while teaching at one of the local high schools. Why did Katsuki memorize all of this? He had no idea, but he thought it was pretty impressive. He himself does not have the patience to go through a PhD right after this.

The engineering department’s building still looks as wrecked as ever. With this cold, they would have to wait years until paint has dried off properly, but it still felt like a second home to him. Right in front of said building you could find the Fine Arts department, where Uraraka was, somewhere inside. Katsuki takes a deep breath as he enters the building, inhaling the paint chemicals flowing through the corridors and ignoring the students who were rushing around to get somewhere.

Katsuki walks through the corridors attentively, he feels like this is his final destination, like something is meant to happen here. By now, most people had gone home, the sun was setting outside but he knew Uraraka was an overachiever and she would probably be staying for a couple more hours. She knew something about his Dream Man, and whatever she knew he was sure he would get his answers.

Truth is, he’s nervous. He feels like he’s waiting at the end of the altar for his husband to walk down the typical red carpet until they feel like one another. They were drunk, but Katsuki swears that all of his feelings are sober. He was gentle with him, and Dream Man was gentle with him too, but he suspects that’s just his natural way of being. They spoke the whole night but Katsuki wanted to get to know him better. All he remembers is a mutual love for the All Might comics, a soft smile and a beautiful giggle as Katsuki held him and told him he was the most beautiful person he had ever seen. He feels like they are cosmically connected, right place and right time. It sounds insane and it sounds cliché, but he had never felt anything for anyone like this. He swears that he heard angels singing as soon as he set his eyes on the love of his life, it was like a choir from a Disney movie from the 90s sung every time they touched.

Katsuki wanted to kiss him, so so bad. He wanted to feel their lips touching, the warmth of them colliding with one another. Holding him wasn’t enough, he needed to have him as close as possible. And it wasn’t anything sexual, even though it was not definitely off the table, right now it was something sentimental and kind. He wanted to be with him, to hold him, to hear those snarky remarks and to make him blush over his morning coffee. He wanted to introduce him to his parents, with the full knowledge that the end goal was ‘forever’. They only met last night but God, it feels like they’ve known each other forever and happened to bump into one another right by the balcony of a college bar. It’s like they’ve known each other in a hundred lifetimes, and now this one too.

Katsuki opens the door to the ceramics room and there she is, Ochacho Uraraka, sitting near whatever she’s trying to make and wearing an apron smudged with every color in the Pantone palette. She’s wearing pink headphones and humming to some bubblegum pop music that is probably charting. He approaches her and taps her shoulder, making her turn around.

“Oh, Bakugo, hello!” she says as she takes off her headphones, silencing the music on her phone “What brings you here?”

“Yaoyorozu told me to find you.” he sits down in front of her, on the other site of the table “What the fuck is this supposed to be?”

“Well… it started off as a swan but now I think I’ll go for a vase. I’ve been needing a new one anyway. What do you need from me? We don’t see many engineering students around here.”

“Well,” he clears his throat “I’ve been looking for this guy…”

Ochaco blushes “Whoever you have sex with is none of my business!”

Katsuki slaps his own face, enough with trying to be gentle and kind, she’s not getting it at all.

“It’s not about sex, Kirby.” he sighs and looks her in the eyes. Determined, confident, hopelessly in love with a stranger “I went out last night and… I met someone. We hit it off really well and fuck, we were both drunk, but I feel like I just met the love of my life.”

She is blushing. Her phone starts buzzing but she puts the screen down, paying attention to Katsuki. He plays with his fingers, he’s nervous, he has never been this vulnerable with anyone, specially Uraraka. Despite that, he always felt like she was trustworthy. She never complained about his behaviour or way to socialize with others, it’s like she ignored it or knew that he was just like that. He admits he could see them becoming friends.

“Continue.”

“I didn’t get to ask his name, I was so focused on him and spending time with him. I remember that… he called me Kacchan and God, I hate when people give me stupid nicknames like that, but coming from him it felt like… home. It just made sense.”

Her phone starts buzzing again with a phone call, she reaches for it and declines. It’s really hard for Katsuki to be honest and vulnerable when he’s constantly being interrupted by her social life.

“Sorry. P-Please continue.”

Katsuki raises his eyebrow but decides to keep going.

“So uh, if Momo sent me here it’s because she thinks you might be able to help me. I’ve been looking all over for him and asking around but no one seems to give me an answer and please, Cheeks, I beg you, don’t make me go somewhere else. I won’t give up, but I need to find him to tell him how I feel about him, and to know if he feels it too after last night…” He stops for a moment, his lip is trembling, is he about to cry? “Fluffy green hair, beautiful smile, gorgeous green eyes, freckles like stars, a laugh that could cure cancer. Do you know him?”

As she opens her mouth to talk, the door to the room bursts open. When Katsuki looks up his heart falls out of his chest. He’s pretty sure he’ll be needing heart surgery after this.

There he is. There stands Dream Man. Out of breath a bit sweaty. He hasn’t looked up yet.

“Chaco! I’ve been calling you are you oka-”

As soon as green eyes sync with red one’s, Katsuki feels like he’s in the clouds. Blue All Might shirt, red sneakers, warm jacket and All Might scarf. That’s him.

“Izuku!” Ochaco says “I was… busy.”

“Izuku.” Katsuki repeats. His name tastes like honey.

“Ka- I-”

He was blushing. He looks so cute when he blushes. Katsuki writes a mental note to make it happen more often.

He gets up and pats Uraraka on the back when he walks past her walking briskly towards Izuku. When he reaches him, he also reaches for his hands and holds them with his own. He kisses his knuckles and the shorter man shrieks. Katsuki steps closer until their noses are inches apart, he stares into those wide green eyes who sparkle endlessly. He wants to make them sparkle until the end of his days.

“I’ve been looking everywhere for you, baby.”

Izuku nods feverishly. Katsuki could feel him tremble from nervousness and thought that was so, so, so cute. He counts the freckles spread across his nose, takes time to analyze this perfect being standing in front of him.

“Hey, ‘Zuku?” Uraraka calls and Katsuki turns to look at her, still holding Izuku’s hands “I’m working really hard to make this vase so… maybe you should take your business elsewhere?”

“Oh! I’m sorry I thought we-” she widens his eyes and he gulps “I-I heard there was a great ramen place nearby. Do you-do you want to go, Kacchan?”

Kacchan. It’s like hearing the angels call out for him, he’s pretty sure that that’s what’s happening right now. He was never a man of God, but he’s sure Izuku was sculpted after an ethereal being.

“I do. I really do.”

He’ll be saying those words in front of all their friends and family one day.

“Bye! Leave me alone and don’t come back!” Uraraka says as she pushes them out of the workshop and locks the door.

Katsuki looks at him, he’s nervous. Izuku can’t look at him and for a second he feels insecure, did he do something wrong?

“Are you alright?” he grabs his hand, squeezing it.

He looks at him with those giant green eyes “I’m… nervous.”

“Do you… not want to go?”

“I do! I really do!” Katsuki hopes he’s that enthusiastic when he puts a ring on his finger “I just… I really liked you last night and I’m scared you won’t find me as interesting now that you’re sober. And I swear I don’t usually dress like this, but classes haven’t started and I had a day off! I’m a teacher you know? I’m gonna start teaching at U.A. High, I swear my outfits are way more professional than this. I wear suits! Sometimes just a button up and slacks, it depends on the weather honestly. This shirt is a limited edi-”

Katsuki chuckles and grabs his jaw, kissing his temple. That shuts him up. His lips linger on Izuku’s forehead, taking in the smell of his hair and the feeling of his soft skin against his lips. He wanted to kiss him, but he wanted to do it in a more romantic setting, not in front of the ceramics workshop where he pretended Ochaco Uraraka wasn’t spying on them behind the door. He kisses Izuku’s cheek, maybe multiple times, and nuzzles against it as he becomes more comfortable with Katsuki and pulls closer to him, taking in his warmth.

“I can’t wait to tell the world you’re fucking mine.” Katsuki says.

“Kacchan! You can’t just say that like it means nothing!”

He snorts “It means the world. Now, would you mind if I showed you how much I want to get to know you over ramen and drinks?”

Izuku blushes and looks to the side. Katsuki knows the answer, but he wants him to say it out loud. Katsuki kisses his cheek again, smiling against it. When he pulls away Izuku stares at him and on a blimp kisses his chin, where he can reach perfectly. Katsuki is the one to blush now, squeezing his hand as a way to refrain himself from kissing the world’s most adorable human being.

“I would love it.”

I love you, Katsuki mentally says. It’s too soon, not yet. But fuck, does he feel it.

Izuku intertwines their fingers as they walk through the corridors of the Fine Arts department. When they reach outside, Katsuki zips up Izuku’s coat and gives him one of his gloves. Inside one of his fluffy pockets, he holds Izuku’s hand, who also wraps his other arm around Katsuki’s while they talk excited about All Might’s most iconic era.

Eijiro Kirishima is a good guy.

He used to babysit his siblings when their parents were out and soon enough everyone on his street started trusting him with their own kids. When he goes to the gym, he likes to meet new people and find gym buddies, that’s how he was invited to join the 65 and up Zumba class. He has saved kittens from trees and cured a few pigeons.

He saves all the gossip for his girlfriend, even those that have nothing to do with him. It’s safe to say that she was thrilled to know Katsuki was in love with someone and that he was actively pursuing the guy until he found him and confessed all his mighty love. Mina went nuts, of course, especially after realizing she knew the guy Katsuki was after (and gave him a million star rating).

Izuku Midoriya was a teacher, he was sweet and kind. His good deeds couldn’t be measured by the average human. He donated monthly to various shelters, even when he was a broke college student. He was the number 1 All Might fan on the official website. Kirishima chuckled when he said that, because the number 2 was no one other than his own best friend, Katsuki Bakugo.

When he walks past his workplace with Mina, worrying what to buy for her mother’s upcoming birthday, he notices a pair with fluffy green hair and pointy blonde hair sitting on the best table by the window. He stops Mina in her tracks and points at them. She gasps and takes a picture of the pair. Katsuki smiles fondly, his head resting on his hand, as he watches Izuku who seems to be rambling about something.

“Well, who knew we’d be seeing this before we allucinate with dementia.”

Kirishima laughs at his lover “What do you mean?”

“Well, Katsuki Bakugo is in love.”

Kirishima chuckles and kisses her forehead, putting his arm around her shoulders. He can’t wait to marry her.

“Let’s wait for loverboy to tell us the details.”
