Summary
Set around the time frame of midway through Mister Impossible. Ronan and Hennessy are dreaming when the ley line snaps underneath them, hurtling them into darkness they can't find their way out of. With the Moderators on their heels and Bryde as lost as they are, there's nowhere to run--until Adam appears, backed by Blue as an amplifier and Opal as a guide, to fix the ley line from Lindenmere, several hundred miles away.
But Hennessy hasn't learned to control the Lace, and it does not like Adam interfering in a space reserved for a dreamers. He succeeds in holding the line long enough for the dreamers to escape, but in the process, sustains an injury that may mean life or death. Ronan and the other dreamers are left to race the clock back to the place this all began: the Barns, and Adam.
