Her father, Mateo, is a former monster hunter who abandoned a secret Catholic brotherhood to become a baker. Between them, Angela has inherited an impossible legacy of magic, monsters, and expectations.
However, Silvia has gone missing, and Walendon is dependent on her to survive. Angela and her childhood friend, Ryan, strike out on a quest to locate her. Along the way, they come across a certain Dawnwalker.
