The school was slowly being rebuilt thanks to efficient workers pressured by the presence of families who wanted to get rid of their children as quickly as possible so they could have uninterrupted se― I mean... Doing housework, that's it― that's what it meant… Of course…
Within two months, the school was back to normal, but all the materials, books, and backpacks the students had lost meant the school year was delayed until after the summer. By then, everyone would have been able to get all the materials they needed to start school as before.
When that day came, everyone was still slightly afraid that they might be attacked again, some were terrified of school after that, others always had their eyes close to the exits so they could run without interruption…
Others didn't give a damn shit.
Classes began with training practices that would evaluate how much they had improved in the time they were out of school. Basically an excuse for Cartman and Kyle to fight without interruption, because before the teacher finished explaining the practical exercise, both were already beating each other to death.
"I still wonder how they're still friends..." Tweek commented sarcastically next to Craig, who was also sitting next to Kenneth.
"I wonder that sometimes too..." Stanley muttered, rubbing the bridge of his nose.
“Maybe they love each other…” Kenneth smiled cynically with the mask on his face.
Tweek, Craig, and Stanley― the latter lowering his dark, squinting eyes to reveal a sarcastic look― stared at him. Kenneth stifled a laugh and looked away from the redhead and the brunette. The other three did the same.
“Fine, anyway, I'd better ignore them. They must be stressed after not being able to hit each other for so long…” the teacher commented sarcastically. “Get into groups of two…”
“Those are couples…” said Clyde.
“Shut up, I said groups of two and they are GROUPS of TWO…” Harrison dramatised the two words with exaggeration. “And when you have formed the groups, decide which side of the court you like the most, there have to be the same teams on one side as on the other, and if possible they shouldn't be unequal or boys against girls… Thanks…” he muttered sarcastically as he approached the two who were fighting. “Fine… YOU TWO, STOP FIGHTING RIGHT NOW!” The two remained still under the influence of their teacher's kosei.
The more furious he was and the louder he shouted… He would make his listeners obey him without hesitation.
“Thank you very much… Now… As punishment, you'll be paired up.” The two of them stared at the teacher as if to say: Are you kidding, aren't you? “Choose a side… And hurry, time's running out…”
The two had to resign themselves and team up.
“Aww... come on, come on, the couple are holding hands…” McCormick joked, earning a flower bomb to the face from Kyle and a giant bucket of ice water on him from Cartman. “I hate you…” He glared at them.
“Us too, Ken…” they smiled as they said that at the same time.
Butters let out a quiet laugh. Kenneth glared at him.
“Sorry, that was funny…” he admitted and smiled sweetly.
“I forgive you…” he said immediately.
They both had their lives together as a couple, being sweet, sometimes being too horny at school, and being somewhat inappropriate when they thought no one was looking. They both had their romance replaced by a competition to see who was better at night or in the afternoons.
They went from tender kisses and cuddles to being capable of fighting in front of cameras while the police chased them both with helicopters and reporters.
Maintaining their lives as a hero and villain and as boyfriends, being two completely different lives…
After all, both would have benefits and preferred that the secrets never come out and no one knows who they really were…
