Chapter Text
Diego didn’t have parents.
Not like other children - a mom and dad.
Diego had Luther, who he secretly called his brother, but wasn’t really. Luther, who apparently found a crying toddler abandoned behind a tent.
Barely 15, yet he’d taken Diego in, taught him (most) of his letters. To set up tents and help move tanks. To count money for tickets. To be useful, but unremarkable. Safe.
But one day, Sir finds him trapped in a tank. A full tank, with lungs burning.
He times him.
Apparently, it’s impressive.
And two days later, The Kraken’s poster is plastered across town.
