Chapter Text
“Master,” Ahsoka whined from where she was laying on the couch.
“I’m bored,” she said with a pout, looking up at Anakin with big blue eyes.
“Well,” Anakin said as he sat down next to her on the couch, “you need to rest.”
“But I don’t wanna!” Ahsoka exclaimed and then coughed harshly when her voice cracked at the end.
Anakin began to rub soothing circles on her back until the coughing subsided and she sighed again.
“How are you supposed to run around and play with a cough like that?” Anakin asked.
”And don’t forget to cough into your elbow, Snips,” he added on and she huffed.
“Not fair,” she mumbled as she pulled the blanket she was under higher up towards her chin.
“Can we play a game?” She asked after a moment, looking up at Anakin with pleading eyes and a hint of a pout on her face. “I wanna play with my frogs.”
And he knew that when she did that, he couldn’t say no.
“Truthfully,” Obi-Wan began as he looked over at Anakin and Ahsoka.
“I’m surprised that you didn’t catch whatever Ahsoka is sick with sooner.”
“Well maybe I wouldn’t have gotten sick at all if someone was better at covering their mouth when they coughed,” Anakin replied, his voice hoarse.
“I said I was sorry!” Ahsoka grumbled from next to him, the two of them underneath several different blankets.
“Well, at least you two look comfortable,” Obi-Wan said with a sigh and a smile.
“At the rate we’re going, it’s only a matter of time before you catch this too, Obi-Wan,” Anakin said and then sneezed.
“I’m trying not to think about that,” Obi-Wan replied with a smile and rolling his eyes.
He knew that Anakin was right, he knew that eventually, sooner rather than later, Anakin would fall asleep against his shoulder and he wouldn’t have the heart to move him.
And that was how the three of them found themselves sharing a bed together, under all of the blankets they owned since the couch was too small and Ahsoka insisted that they lay with her until they were all better.
