Summary
The story of "You're Like a Breath of Fresh Air", both from Eugene's and Babe's perspective.
I wrote Eugene's view, then the lovely Lady_Rhaena inspired me to write Babe's.
Eugene can't stand to listen to the cries of his men, knowing he's been instructed to sit back from the patrol. It's when he finds out that someone is drowning that he steps in.

Summary
Charts flutter to the floor and John’s shoes skip on the linoleum, jacket flying out behind him. One of Peter’s hands cups his waist, like nothing, like it’s made to fit just there. When he notices it, his body does too. It’s an interesting feeling. Like he doesn’t have enough blood to supply to both his blushing cheeks and his stirring dick.
“Buy a girl dinner first,” he snaps, ripping himself out of Benton’s grasp. He takes a moment to adjust his tie, hoping it distracts from the way he has to also tug at the tight front of his pants.
“If that counts as second base, it explains a lot about you, Carter.” There's a curl to Benton’s mouth.

If he thought about the past month he wasn’t sure now what had possessed him to agree to that bet in the first place, or how he had blithely walked into her dorm room and even got onto her bed as if it wasn’t in hindsight obvious from the beginning how the evening would end. But she had been so excited to show him the movie, and he hadn’t wanted to disappoint her.
Carter changes his mind about Titanic.
