Summary
All witches possess wings, which are a reflection of their soul and magic.
On the night of Samhain, 1675, Agatha Harkness is born with black wings; the wings of a crow, but mistaken to be the wings of a raven. Wings of Death. She is ostracized by the coven flock and raised to believe Death has marked her evil, sinful soul, and will one day come to claim her.
What she does not know is that Evanora is partially correct. Death will, one day, claim her - because after millennia of waiting, Death's Soulmate has finally been born.

Summary
Rio looked her in the eyes, not saying a word, certainly waiting for the other woman to speak first.
As the female's glowing gaze swept around her face, the vampire felt herself growing tenser with each passing second. Half a minute dragged on at an insufferably slow pace, before the object of her fascination formed an answer. She held her breath when the human finally broke the silence:
“...l'm just glad you killed my husband."

Summary
Dr. Vidal takes the wand and slowly slips it inside of her. It goes in seamlessly. Agatha’s neck feels tense, and she tries to lean her head back to loosen things up.
“Are you sure you’re okay?” Dr. Vidal looks up at Agatha with big baby brown eyes. “If you’re anxious, we can stop, or I can give you a pheromone patch—”
“I’m perfectly fine,” Agatha snaps, and then she blurts out, “I’m not nervous!”
Dr. Vidal just blinks at her owlishly, and Agatha presses her lips together. Fuck. What if the doctor connects the dots? Agatha isn’t nervous, just embarrassed. It isn’t her fault she encompasses a physical body and, by objective accounts, Dr. Vidal is attractive.
And smells good.
Whatever.
“Okay,” Dr. Vidal says softly. “My apologies.”
_____OR, Agatha finds herself in a predicament: she's pregnant, single, and in her forties, and the only gynecologist that is qualified to help her is alpha Dr. Rio Vidal.

Summary
Rio Vidal is a part-time journalist, full-time cryptid hunter, and unapologetic believer in things that go bump in the night. When she’s sent to profile the reclusive new owner of the Harkness Estate, she expects velvet curtains and perhaps a mild haunting. All part of the job.
She finds Agatha Harkness—a centuries-old, unrepentant, and alarmingly forward vampire.
They thirst for answers. And share a taste for blood.
