Forced from their home the Sully family ask for uturu within the Metkayina clan. Neteyam is oblivious to his growing feelings for the chiefs son while he tries to stay afloat from the growing pressure of being the eldest son.
Neteyam held a calm composure on the outside, careful to not let Anoung see how weak he suddenly felt, his breathing was laboured and the cool air that surrounded them felt scolding as it entered his lungs, burning him from the inside out. Aonungs touch was just as hot against his skin.

Summary
Neteyam could swear he caught him staring a couple of times and every time they made accidental eye contact, Aonung became unreasonably flustered. Or at least it looked like that…. One time he dropped an entire basket full of fish when he abruptly turned away from Neteyam’s gaze. It was absolutely bizzare but also incredibly entertaining, especially for someone hut bound and unable to move a single muscle. And just like that, the first week after he woke up, Neteyam found himself thinking mostly about the boy he previously thought he hated.
