Best of Team Tony Stark
After watching Captain America: Civil War, I walked away feeling that the movie had did Tony Stark a disservice. I felt that Steve Rogers was concentrating only on Bucky Barnes, and that Tony was right. I especially thought that the letter at the end of the movie what's something only an a****** would send. This collection is all about stories that either deal with what happened, or atleast do not whitewash what happened.

Summary
"What do you want me to say, Steve?"
"I want you to tell me the truth."
Tony stares down at the workbench, fingers drumming on the metal surface as he thinks. The lines of his shoulders are tight beneath his singlet, skin stained with black viscosity and sweat. Steve licks his lips and waits.
"Loki kissed me."
The bottom drops out of Steve's stomach. "Ah."
First, Loki saves Tony from a nasty collision. Then Loki kisses him (on the cheek.) From there, Tony’s life begins to spiral: he and Cap are fighting, the US Government is desperate to control the team, and the world is becoming less and less amenable to The Avengers's so-called "collateral damage." Tony blames the God of Chaos.Wherein Loki tries to maybe turn over a new leaf, Tony tries to play both sides, and Steve tries to Be Okay. ("Tries" might be the operative word.) Mostly movie compliant up to Thor: The Dark World, with some elements of Civil War Fix-It.

Post CA:CW AU where everything is the same; Steve still lifts his shield above his head and brings it down into Tony's arc reactor...except for the fact that the arc reactor isn't just part of the suit--it's still in Tony's chest, and the man in question hasn't waken up since Siberia.
NOTE: THIS FIC IS NOW OFFICIALLY ON HIATUS. I DO NOT KNOW IF OR WHEN IT WILL EVER BE UPDATED. PLEASE READ CHAPTER 16 FOR MORE DETAILS.

Summary
"Tony you shouldn't be working yourself up right now, this isn't the best time-" Sam says, trying to soothe but Tony isn't having it, he feels the snarl conquer his face.
"No? No this is the best time!" Tony screams out, voice already hoarse, vocal cords already straining, "No more explanations or 'But Tony you don't understand'." He twists violently to glare at Steve, a fist by his side and a finger pointing dangerously close to the super soldier's chest, "You, oh you arrogant piece of shit, you were going to sign the Accords!"
At that Sam pulls back, his gaze traveling to Steve and his brows furrowing, Bucky's as well.
"I told you amendments were more than possible, and, and I delivered! I told you Bucky would be transferred to an American psych ward for therapy, to get help! I offered to legalize everything you did to get Bucky, both you and Sam!" Sam takes a step back, a gruff noise escaping his throat. Steve won't look at him, he can't rip his gaze away from Tony.

Summary
“Compromise where you can. And where you can’t, don’t. Even if everyone is telling you that something wrong is something right, even if the whole world is telling you to move. It is your duty to plant yourself like a tree, look them in the eye and say, no. You move.“
The thought never crossed Steve’s mind that maybe the entire world was standing in your way, because you were the one trying to do it wrong. Steve hadn’t had the time to listen. First stopping the accords form happening, saving Bucky and then getting his friends out of the claws of a government which thought itself almighty. It was only a few days after the events of Siberia that Steve couldn’t ignore the rest of the world anymore. The people his team had been fighting for had something to say and they demanded their voice being heard. They were telling him to move.

Summary
Tony knew better than to play with alien toys. He really did. But there was just something so tempting about other-worldly objects. It turned out that he wasn't the only Tony Stark that felt that way. One explosion later, there's a brand new Tony in town. But there's something not quite right about this Tony and how he reacts to the team, the way he flinches away from Bucky or shakes when Steve picks up the shield or won't turn his back to Clint and Natasha.
It turns out that not every Tony Stark is as lucky as Tony, but damned if Tony, Steve and Bucky aren't going to fix that.
(or, the one where canon MCU Tony gets thrown into a fanon world and gets ALL THE LOVE from the fanon version of the team)
