They’d reconnected at the dragon sanctuary in Romania and melted into one another quicker than she could’ve ever guessed. When it had come time for Hermione to leave, Draco had wanted to make a real go of it. Wary of the distance and getting involved in anything that could distract her from a burgeoning career, Hermione had ended things. And thought of him every day since.
It had been three years, and though she’d expected to see him here, she’d convinced herself their contact would be minimal. That he wouldn’t affect her now.
