Summary
Tim's night already sucked when he had to trek through the sewers in pursuit of the Riddler.
It got exponentially worse when he was caught in a trap and dragged to Riddler's feet.
He's pretty sure it's going to be fatal when the water starts pouring in.
He knows it's going to be fatal when the Red Hood starts speaking.

Summary
One of the thugs trying to sneak up behind Robin stoops low, comes back up swinging at Robin's unprotected back with a fucking crowbar—
Metal clatters against the ground; the body follows it a second later.
Jason lifts his finger from the trigger.
Robin whirls, taking in the body dropped with a headshot. With a scowl, Jason kneecaps the idiots trying to take out Robin from behind again.
[or: Jason, newly returned to Gotham as the Red Hood, keeps accidentally helping out the Bats. It's really frustrating.]

Summary
“For the last time, I’m not modifying a car we’ll be ditching a few towns over.”
“Why, you got better things to do?”
“Yeah, getting food on the table, you leech.”
Jason sticks his tongue out, disgusting peanut-mesh and all. It’s not his fault the guy decided to take in a stray cat. Finders, keepers.
Calvin rolls his eyes and gets out of the car, grumbling something uncharitable as he wrestles the seatbelt back into the socket, “I liked you better when you talked gibberish.”
Jason stretches once, wincing when the movement pulls on his scars, and follows Calvin with one last glance at the otherwise empty parking lot. Both their doors falling shut with a little more force than necessary.
“A crowbar and a coffin and you’ll have me right back to the original.”
Calvin pushes him from the sidewalk and into a dirty puddle, “Jesus, I’ll get second-hand trauma from you one of these days kid.”

Sometimes healing means going on a road trip with an ex-talon.
(And accidentally running into a family member who still thinks you're dead.)

Summary
Jason ducks just in time to avoid being electrocuted with enough volt to down a whale, tutting disappointedly, “Now, now, that wasn’t nice. What if you hit my brand-new jacket?”
“What is your price…” Batman grits out, looking pained, “In return for the pelt?”
Jason’s eyes narrow, fury coiled low in his gut like a pit of vipers waiting to strike. “What piece you talkin’ about, old man? My pretty jacket, or the fur rug?”
“All of it,” Batman snaps, true fury making his voice pitch more towards Bruce than Batman.
“Greedy,” Jason remarks idly, “Don’t anybody teach you that sharing is caring?”
----
Jason is a selkie, and his pelt is... a point of contention.

Summary
The rambling cuts off abruptly, stony silence ringing from the other end of the line, but Jason knows Bruce is listening. Listening and running through several calculations on how someone— and who— could have gotten this number, while simultaneously tracking the call signal.
This is gonna be fucking gold.
Time to sell it.
“Dad,” he sobs, pitching his voice until it breaks, teeth chattering exaggeratedly, “Dad, please, I’m scared, I-“ Jason cuts himself off with a scream and another series of sobs, “Please, I can’t— it’s locked! Please, no, Dad, it’s locked—“
