Summary
Tim shrugs. “I know his limits. Sometimes he just needs a little push in the right direction.”
“A push,” Damian echoes incredulously. “Jason Todd needs a push. The Red Hood. The same one who tried to kill you a couple years ago.”
“You’ve also tried to kill me, to be fair.”
“To be fair, it would not be wise for you to push me, either.”
-
After an injury benches Tim for a few months, he and Damian are forced to cohabitate until Tim recovers. Along the way Damian learns that there’s a lot he doesn’t understand about Tim Drake, starting with his total lack of self-preservation.

Summary
Jason meets his eyes. “You look tired.”
Tim shrugs. “I don’t want to sleep.”
It’s Jason’s turn to shrug. “Fair enough. Want a book or something to keep you entertained?”
Tim seems to consider it, then says, “sure.”

Summary
The shadowy shapes start to look familiar after a few more hours. Tim’s eyes flicker around in a dazed panic, expecting to see a person standing just out of the corner of his eye.
A familiar shape dressed in bright blue approaches and Tim tenses up.
“You’re not real,” he croaks.
His voice sounds absolutely wrecked.

Summary
“Hey,” he says, breaking the heavy silence. His voice sounds a bit hysterical and he hopes Damian can’t hear it. “Do you think the others have found us?”
Damian’s expression is oddly calm, but Tim’s learned a long time ago that the kid’s distressingly good at pretending nothing is falling apart.
“These idiots are incompetent enough. I expect Father to be here soon,” he says confidently.
Tim hums. “He’d better be,” is all he says.
