The way my brain hyperfixates on things is very consistent. Major things (depending on content length) usually start at the end of December and continue for about a year.
I'm almost 99% sure I read the Sandpiper fic around the exact same time last year to this fic. I'm only bookmarking now because I'm lazy when it comes to bookmarking. But I would bet money it was like within the same week.
Anyways I can't think of any like super bad dads in Star Trek.. Sarek? I guess? but he cares enough and he at least cares so much more than fucking Yasopp. (100% subject to change I'm only at TOS)
