Summary

After waking up from the accident, Regina finds herself trapped in a present she doesn't recognize. North Shore High is no longer her kingdom; it’s a crime scene where she is both the victim and the evidence. Amidst the paranoia and memories that flicker like burnt film grain, a glitch appears in the system: Rodrick Heffley.
He doesn't fit. He’s the error in the code—and he’s definitely not supposed to be the guy blowing her off for a school project. But while the rest of the world tries to "help" her stop being the "vintage" Regina, Rodrick is the only one who lets her just be.
In a world of polished facades and fake forgiveness, the Princess’s only ally might be the one person who isn’t afraid to watch her burn.
