Benevolent and cruel as she may be, Fate decides to be kind and place the very equal he's sought upon his path. She has given him three paths, one of destruction, one of meaningless success, and another of glory and power.
Harry Potter is dead. Hyperion Peverell is not. That is what Fate commands. Given a sick reward of a second chance, he is dropped into the early 1940s, and enrolled into Hogwarts under a new name. Death haunts him, as Hyperion Peverell constantly stumbles upon Tom Riddle.
One is given the salvation he needs and the other is rewarded for experiencing his ruination. Fate looks upon the two and smiles her cursed smile. Perhaps they could save each other from the destiny's she's woven for them.
