Summary
When Lord Voldemort attempts to kill baby Harry Potter, Magic decides that "this won't do" and thus creates a bond between the two. Voldemort's body is still destroyed by his Avada Kadavra, Harry is still raised by the Dursleys. The only change is that Neville becomes part of his group.
At least that's how it goes, until Fourth year, and Harry is entered in the Triwizard Tournament. Harry is exposed to Voldemort, gives in to the bond, and helps him regain a body.
Now, with a bond that needs them to be close to each other for some time before it settles, Harry has to come to terms with his actions. Mix this in with Voldemort not really being Voldemort but rather Tom Riddle, past lives, potion Masters being a pain in the ass, the Ministry not Understanding Anything and a budding romance between the Boy-Who-Lived and one Dark Lord, and Harry's pretty sure his Fifth Year and Hogwarts will be interesting.

Harry reads the passage again and again before rubbing at his eyes, like blinding them will remove the text from his brain entirely. Across the table, he knows Hermione is watching him with pity, Ron with open disgust–not for Harry, never for Harry, but at the thought of anyone Imprinting on Voldemort. Fuck, Harry can't believe he Imprinted on Voldemort, his body apparently so desperate for a guide in navigating these strange Alphan waters that it latched onto the first one it could find, nevermind that this Alpha wants to kill him.

Harry Potter was very lonely. Yes, he had friends, a good job, and just finished his mastery in defense, but it was usually just him and his son all alone at night when everyone else had families and lives apart from them. When he learned by chance that he may actually have some living family, it should have been an easy decision to reach out to them. Unfortunately, nothing comes easily to Harry. Harry's biological father just had to be the most difficult person in the world to get a meeting to see, and the absolutely most suspicious when confronted with a paternity claim.
Tony Stark was very lonely. He and Pepper had recently broken up. His friends had betrayed him, and he was now forced to live with the very same people who had hurt him. He didn't think he could take one more blow and stay standing under it. Tony didn't have family; he didn't know what to do with family; too bad Tony's family wasn't sure what to do with him either, but they were going to give it a hell of a try anyway.
