Kylo stared into her eyes with a strange longing that Rey was slowly getting accustomed to, but before she could speak, Luke burst into the hut. His eyes were wild.
“Stop!” he yelled, raising his arm.
Then two things happened very quickly.
She felt Kylo grip her hand, and her stomach flipped as she was dragged towards him. She closed her eyes instinctively and ran into something hard, but warm.
She reached out with her free hand, steadying herself and opened her eyes again.
She was no longer in her hut. She wasn’t even on Ahch-To anymore. She swallowed deeply. Somehow, he had managed to… pull her to him.
She was in Kylo Ren’s personal quarters.

If he had known, letting his palm open for her, that he would only be left with a constant reminder of his past, he may not have found himself giving in to her. If he had known she would etch her way into a part of him that hadn't beat for a very long time, the version of him that offered his hand would shudder and slink away.
