An entry for Salty_but_Sweet's prompt list: Enemies to Lovers and for some reason I felt the urge to put the whole thing into the HP universe. Because what we all need is teenage Lara and Jacob hating each other until they don't do that anymore :D
BTW no Harry Potter, Golden Trio, anything like that will happen in this story. I only borrowed the universe and a few teachers and sometimes I do mention the main characters from the HP series, ever since this story is happening in the same universe, but that's it. This is not a Harry Potter story, the Boy Who Lived and the rest is not in this story.

Budding relationship gets more complicated when the other character figures out the artifact's powers and how things aren't what they seem.
So for ex.: Really old looking Jacob who is not as fragile and helpless as he appears. Talented detective Lara is assigned to get back something valuable that was stolen from him. However, it's all a test organized by Jacob to find trustworthy personnel to hire.
Bonus points for elements of real danger, for ex. actual robbers entering the picture.
