Rib-cracking hugs, tears and a very delicious chocolate cake.
This is everything that Mari needs to come to the conclusion that everyone in her friend group has apparently gone insane.Everyone seems to be completely obsessed with making sure that her life is the most enjoyable thing ever, but at the same time there is an underlying tension that permeates the whole group.
Some unspoken thing that hangs over her friends like a corpse from a tree.
And Mari… Mari is starting to get really freaked out.
IN OTHER WORDS: Time Travel Fix-it, but the whole post-truth Faraway gang has been transported to when Mari was still alive.
HOWEVER: every single member of the group believes that they are the only one who went back, and is too scared to open up to the others.

Their faces, filled with shock and outrage, haunt his dreams every night.
They tell him they need space. He understands.
But Sunny can't wait that long.
So he sinks.
Or: Sunny commits suicide at the end of canon events, only to wake up a few hours before the recital.

Summary
TLDR; BadEnding!Sunny goes to OMARI Alternate Universe
After SUNNY jumps off the roof of the hospital building, he wakes up back in the past on the day of the incident. Not wanting to repeat the same mistake he did last time, he manages to save MARI and change everything, going into a coma for six years. MARI blames herself and becomes a reclusive shut-in with her own mental trauma of the event. Eventually, SUNNY wakes up to find himself in a different reality than the one he's familiar with, and will have to deal with a sister who's still alive but dealing with her own guilt and suffering from the incident that ruined both of their lives.
Friends are similar, with minor differences. BASIL seems much healthier in this reality, but is he really?
Once everything is over, will SUNNY find the strength to forgive himself for the sins he committed in the previous reality.

Summary
Sunny finally told everyone the truth, it took some time, but everyone forgave Sunny and Basil. After Sunny told his mother the truth he sadly got abandoned by his own mother and has officially left him just like his father. Kel and his family offered to let Sunny stay at their house while Sunny is trying to find a home and get his life back together, and you know, find some happiness. And who knows? maybe the person who will shed some light for him was there with him all along?
