Summary
At the end of 1879 in Wina, 8-year-old Off Jumpol, a palace servant, was accused of poisoning the food of Duke Rhodderon's youngest son, Gun Phunsawat Rhodderon. In the Primordial Sun Cult, Off Jumpol was found guilty and exiled to the Matterhorn for 20 years. For three months he was trapped in a blizzard with no shelter, until one day he met a boy with a face similar to King Rhodderon's youngest son. His name is Attaphan. The years passed so quickly. Duke Rhodderon never stopped searching for the cause and the way to treat his son. The famous doctors in the palace arguing, talked, brainstormed, showed each other the results of the most effective medicines they had concocted. Unfortunately, there was not a single medicine that could restore the Duke's son. Until one day, early in 1898, a rumor of spiritual energy transfer spread through Wina and reached the ears of Duke Rhodderon. Children without clans were used as tools for the experiment. But alas, they died. There was no way to restore the spiritual energy. Because of his disappointment in everyone. Duke Rhodderon killed everyone who was the same age as his youngest son. On the other side, a young man and his servant laughed with great satisfaction.

Summary
Overpopulation led humanity to space. In terraforming planet Phosop, humanity created a shift in their own DNA. Some children born on the planet began to develop preternatural abilities. Most preternaturals hide their abilities to avoid government detection, but there are some who look at the corruption and crime making peoples' lives harder and decide to fight back.
White Savate Pothiyakorn is the son of the top diplomat of Kraithong, the largest city on Phosop. Born with the gift of precognition, White has seen thousands of possible futures. After his pyrotechnic brother, going by the vigilante name Firebrand, is badly wounded, White takes up his mantel to team up with the other prominent preternaturals in Kraithong—Titan, with super strength; PK Vandal, a psychokinetic with anger problems; and Conjurer, blessed with artistic creation and follower of chaos.
