Summary
Dean's younger sister, Summer's twin sister, transfers into Briar from Harvard. While Dean struggles with her aloof and sporadic personality, another teammate is struggling with something completely different. Logan's dad's treatment costs are racking up, he'd gotten sick while in rehab and was now getting more hands-on care. Jeff was working every day, even Sundays, which gave the shop a bit of an advantage, but it still wasn't enough.
Logan gets drunk one night, blackout, he doesn't even know who he's talking to, but he tells the poor girl all his woes and ails until he passes out. He wakes up the next morning on the couch, vaguely remembering someone pull him up there, haphazardly, if he was being honest. Jeff had been calling him all night and when he finally calls him back, his heart falls to his feet.
The debt was paid off, and not just the debt, the entire cost of the treatment moving forward, paid, even a little extra. -
