Red Hood is an up and coming crime lord dead (hah!) set on cleaning the Alley up. This is the story of how his original four got their jobs and why.

“I’m the best sniper this side of Jersey,” Tailgate offered. “Gotta military background, ‘d make a good enforcer and recon officer.”
“Short of Catwoman herself, I’m one of the best thieves in the city. Pretty good at talking with people,” Eight said, shrugging. “Got a little bit of tech background.”
Benny thought that was a little bit of an understatement.
“I’ve been keeping my nose clean since getting released from prison, that’s all I can really think of. I don’t got many skills like these two, plus whatever the kid can do,” Benny conceded after thinking about it for a moment. “And I’m not employed by any other gang or Rogue.”
“I take care of the kids,” the kid said. “They trust me. Plus, who would dare to think that a crime lord would employ a dumb kid?”
“Correct,” Hood said. “I need good guys on my crew. Can’t have guys who sample the wares or won’t follow my rules. Guys who can get to the people I can’t, the people with all the information.”
