Summary
It was a knife, silver blade polished to a mirror sheen. Its hilt and off-edge was a dark metal, and its guard was decorated with a carving of a skull. Ren swung it a few times. The weight felt good in his hand, even more fitting than the blade that had manifested into his grasp the moment he first called on Arsene's power. The wind in the dungeon caressed his back and he shuddered. For a moment, it sounded almost like a whisper: Sa....el.
Ren Amamiya isn't quite equipped to handle the ramifications of time travel, or the impending apocalypse, or the sudden appearance of two dozen more Persona-users with firsthand experience fighting gods, demons and everything in-between. The year had a plan for him, and this wasn't it. But when a Witch grants you the opportunity to save everyone you've ever loved, readiness should likely be the farther thing from your mind.
This isn't the first time he's had to play with the cards he's been dealt. And the game must begin again.

Tartarus has always been a dangerous place. Death was a grim reality here. When his face froze over, Akihiko thought that was it for him. But he opened his eyes not to the afterlife, or even the faces of the juniors, but to the lounge--and to a separate reality. He's still himself (he thinks, anyway) but there's a pair of glaring differences. Time was different here; rarely would the hour be the same as where he had come from, and the days were months in the future.
The second and perhaps the most glaring change, was that Yuki Arisato, leader of SEES, was gone. In his place was a girl, a girl with a burning smile and intense red eyes. She's the polar opposite of Arisato in nearly every way... and dare he say he likes it that way.

Time Travel fic.
As soon as Cloud wakes up, he knows that something is wrong. He felt... weird. There is too much noise around him for him to be in the 7th Heaven. Where is he? When he finally opens his eyes, he's in a familiar but unfamiliar place. Why is he in the barracks of the ShinRa building?
Cloud hates being a trooper, more then anything in the world. But, he supposed, it's better then being a mutated experiment at the hands of Hojo. So, he decided, it wasn't the worst thing in the world. Until Zack, his old friend and First Class SOLDIER, changes everything.
Life could be great, if he can just avoid Sephiroth and somehow destroy JENOVA before any bullshit can happen.
How bad could it get?
The answer, apparently, was very bad. It was horrific.
