Only Dean is eighteen and very independent, he doesn't want to be anyone's pet to stay at home. Cas is older. So they end up married but even if Dean is all "no, I don't want this, I don't need anyone, leave me alone, I hate you" he can't resist Cas because he's hot and brilliant.
