“Try,” Soonyoung says, gentle, a hand playing with the hem of Minghao’s shirt. Minghao returns his eyes to the pages, but now translation eludes him for a different reason. Soonyoung’s fingers graze his side, and Minghao abandons the effort altogether.
“It’s really difficult,” he whispers, apologetic.
“It’s really difficult?” Soonyoung whispers back, forgiving, swallowing down his own voice like the words are a secret he’ll keep just for Minghao. His hand runs over Minghao’s bicep, caressing.
Soonyoung spends an afternoon and a night with Minghao, deep in the forest of Gapyeong -- companionship in the shape of each other's bodies, or hearts.

There was no dramatic fall out, no scandal, no big break up scene where they screamed at each other that it was over. It just ended.
They went their separate ways along with the rest of their members. Seokmin stopped talking to him once there wasn’t the contractual obligation for him to do so. It’s fine. Jeonghan has made peace.
